No salad bar now,not sure if that’s because it’s a weekend, or not offered any more. Dining area outdated needs some repair of booths, torn padding in booths. Windows on entrance very dirty. Owner seemed friendly and took our orders accurately except forgot the appetizer but we were not charged for the missed item. I don’t think he understood English well enough to take orders, but the kids who seated us and took drink orders seemed annoyed and it showed. Mixed vegetables with chicken and brown rice was just ok, seems like it was from a pack of frozen mixed vegetables not fresh prepared vegetables. Chicken added to the entree tasted precooked, not fresh. Whatever oil they used to prepare wasn’t sesame, wasn’t olive, didn’t have much flavor. I couldn’t finish since it was a good sized portion but I didn’t want to take any home. The others in our party of 3 were content with their plates, especially the sesame chicken combo plate. I rarely give less than a good review,but for the price it could tasted better. The online menu shows the lunch items for the weekdays, but the prices for similar entrees are higher on weekend and after 3pm.

I’ve eaten at Asian restaurants across the country and Old Place is really solid with their food. I was very pleased with everything that I’ve gotten from them. Prices are very reasonable and the ingredients taste fresh. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely excellent! Best steamed dumplings I’ve ever had! I had the Bourbon Chicken was excellent. My husband had the Pepper Steak. He loved his too. Very tender. Egg rolls good too! I will be back!

First and last time diner. Place is dirty. Might b why I was the only person there. Got no bill and after I paid I asked for receipt. Was given a bill not a receipt (see pic). Bill has $1 service charge when I asked about it all of the sudden no English and kept pointing at computer. Never got an explanation and was not a credit card fee because the charged 43 cents on top of 10 bill to use cc. Crooks and filthy place

This place has the best Chinese food. The owner that owns it is so friendly. We’ve been going for over a decade now. We’ve tried other places but always come back to China Kitchen. Portions are big and prices are reasonable.

I would NOT suggest this place. I got violently ill the night I ate there with gastro intestinal pains that had me in cold sweats about to pass out. It seemed empty and shady when we pulled up. Dark atmosphere with all windows covered up. A child was the host/at the register and was very rude to us about giving us our order that we had placed on the phone. Watch out, that’s all I’m saying.
