Ambiance: I got my order to go. The place is right on the street, you order outside at the counter, and if you’d like, there’s seating outside in the back. Limited parking.

Definitely a hidden gem. It’s great having a local breakfast spot close by. The French toast was amazing with the cinnamon well balanced, so were the hash browns. The egg sandwich was great on the brioche, just needed a little sauce on it to compliment it.

I got the Florence special with french toast, added hash browns, (came on a different plate and I was too busy being greedy to take a picture) and the wig I didn’t even have on bout flew out the window as a result of the flavor that was packed into those hash browns lawd. It caught me off guard since I’m used to plain IHOP-like ones but these are of a completely different tier. they were SO good. The French toast was a lot different from what I’m used to texture-wise and it was ok. Ms. Brittany was very nice and it just felt like I picked up breakfast that my aunty made me before work. will definitely be back.

Hands down one of the most FLAVORFUL breakfast experiences EVER! I’m a home chef and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Food was cooked to perfection. Pork chops juicy, grits smooth creamy and LUMP FREE!!! And the FRUITY PEBBLE FRENCH TOAST goes CRAZY!!! I had the honor of meeting the owner/chef Brittany and her daughter and she shared her story with me and my family…truly humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to taste a bit of her dream! Passion, talent and love all in one bite right in the middle of what some would call ‘the hood’

A local “hidden gem”! The absolutely best hash browns and grits I’ve ever tasted “no cap”. Don’t let me start on the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito my go to order. The main attraction here is the delicious shrimp & grits, did I mention the flavored coffee is FREE! JUST ASK FOR IT. (If you’re really hungry ask for the “Sugar’s Special” 2 eggs, hashbrowns, grits, bacon, sausage biscuits and side of pancakes).

Delicious hot breakfast in south LA! Classic morning favorites with a flare of comfort with the soul food staples. Cannot express how good my eggs over medium, grits and fluffy biscuit were – and a free small coffee!
