Nice, old style building. Reminds me of NOLA establishments. Service was OK. Food was good, however way too salty. Both my steak and fries were difficult to eat without drowning them in catsup to cut down on the salt content.

We visited on a Friday about 5pm. Thank heaven we got there when we did, there were only 2 tables available. It’s a night that crawfish was served for $10/pound. They were the biggest crawfish we’d ever had! Musicians were setting up in the front corner of the dining area. They were all very jovial and knew many of the customers. We’d obviously stumbled on a favorite of the locals.

Went to this restaurant after my uncles funeral to have lunch before we drove back to Houston. The food and service were okay but I had had hair fried into my fried oysters. I brought it up to my server and she took the food back but didn’t offer another order or take it off of the tab. Once we got home to Houston we saw that we were super overcharged then the charge was reversed then charged again still overcharged a bit. No one answered the phone so we have been unable to resolve this issue.

This is such a great place to eat, drink and have a fantastic time with friends. The food was amazing. The staff was so quick and so friendly. The atmosphere was lively and the band was great. Love the outdoor patio. Can’t wait to go back for crawfish.

For my birthday is was treated to a day out with my boyfriend… We went to Kajun King and I ordered a Chicken & Sausage Gumbo… It came with potato salad and a piece of french bread.,. It was perfect.. it reminded me of the Gumbo my Mother used to cook ! Very clean and the staff are polite and helpful. I did not feel rushed… Definitely will go back there !!

Food was on point and service is top notch. The entire staff is very friendly and work hard to ensure the customer is satisfied. The waitresses alway have a smile on their faces and really perform well in crunch time. The owners are very cool, down to earth people who’s hospitality isn’t second to none. I’d definitely recommend this place to any and everyone.
