I have mixed reviews here. I have been here before and enjoyed the nachos and green chili. However, the prime rib was not cooked right, and I would echo the other review that it was tastless and very disappointing. Stick with the nachos and burgers here. The steak and prime rib are better elsewhere.

Best restaurant in the Monarch. All the food we got was excellent. I was surprised as this was not the high end restaurant. The staff was excellent every time we visited. I did not like the selection of teas and mentioned when I went to Starbucks and they gave me delicious tea as a replacement. Go to 25/7 it is the well above especially in casinos.

Went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon and it was half full. Waited almost an hour for our food. Received numerous excuses from the waiter (and I understand it was not his fault) and we finally asked to talk to a manager. When she came to our table she seemed mad she had to talk to us. She said it was the ticket machine’s fault. Then she rudely said, ‘what, do you want something comped and we said yes and she stomped off. She did comp the cheapest meal and a drink on a table of 5. But she was super rude, and we had done nothing wrong. We should not have been treated like that!

I have food allergies and the wait staff are so kind about it. We ate here several times during our trip and everything I got I special ordered and they made it perfectly every time. Best food for the best price in Blackhawk. The wait staff all had such an accommodating attitude!
