Their minestrone soup included a gluten free option ( no pasta) it was nice to have that option available. It was really good. Then I ordered the salmon salad it didn’t disappoint! It fresh and tasty.

The staff and manager, Jason, worked with us to set up for a larger group. He was very accommodating and so easy to work with! Our servers, Sadie and Jeff, were very responsive and friendly. The staff alone were above and beyond and made our visit worth it, so refreshing in this day and time where it’s hard to find good service.

My favorite restaurant! This local Italian food is to die for. I have eaten here many times, their food and drink menu are so versatile and customizable for whatever you are craving. The restaurant feels so upscale but is more than affordable. It has the same prices as olive garden but with better quality and more selection. Please support this business, it deserves the praise. I promise, youll enjoy it.

The K Green Show
Italian restaurant in upscale outdoor mall type shopping area in Blacksburg. Entree was very good, dessert was great, and my server was very very accommodating even though they were short staffed in the dining room. Food came out fast and hot. Seafood pasta had lots of seafood in it. Lemon cello cake was amazing. I would recommend while visiting the Burg.

First time eating lunch at Avellinos. So happy I found this place 🙂 the decor was absolutely beautiful inside, the waiter knew a lot about the menu, and the restaurant! Most importantly the food was delicious. I can’t wait to return!

I started ordering and enjoying takeout here mid 2022, but I’ve started to eat inside in 2023. It is such a comfort for me. The atmosphere is casual but with such warmth at the same time! It truly feels like home. Huge portions and incredible food quality. Service is always amazing, particularly by Julia A. I’m obsessed with this place.

Treated myself to a work dinner here. I really wanted some good pasta and tirimusu. The host/manager appeared to get a bit frustrated because I didn’t want to sit in the bar. I just needed room on a table to spread out. I came here because I was in the area and I figured, Italian restaurants in strip malls are all about the same. However, this is not true. I found it difficult to find anything on the menu that sounded palatable to me. I ended up ordering the white wine garlic shrimp linguini. I could smell it before the server placed it on the table. It wasn’t an appealing smell. It also wasn’t easy to eat. The ‘sauce’ was like water, so it didn’t coat the noodles at all. Think, Ramen noodles…how it’s just water and noodles. I had one fork full and picked at my salad until the server came back. I ordered tirimisu for dessert. It’s my absolute favorite dessert. I make it at home, also. This, was not a normal tirimusu. It was served in a sundae glass. It didn’t appear, visually, to have any espresso at all. It was mostly what looked to be cake, instead of ladyfingers. It was difficult to eat, as it was mostly full of a really thick, overly whipped, filling. I have never experienced a restaurant situation like this. I I gave it three stars because what they served, was what I ordered, as opposed to messing up an order. I spent over $30 for a meal and a dessert that I did not eat. $30 is a lot of money for one person’s meal. I wasn’t even asked if there was something wrong with my meal. So, fair warning, if you’re looking for an Italian restaurant with spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo and other regulars, then this is probably not for you. **Please hit the ‘LIKE ‘ button if my review has been helpful. Thanks!

The food was bland, the best part of the meal was the bread and oil. The server was spectacular though, we sat out on the patio today at 6:30 and had a male server. I believe he told us he was normally a bartender that was able to be a server today. He was awesome!
