A pleasant lunch experience, good service and the food was fresh prepared and exactly as ordered. The wait staff and owner were very happy to answer questions and all seemed to be enjoying being there, kind of rare these days.

Great little bar & grill smack in the middle of downtown Tonganoxie. Always have good food and the staff is always friendly. Glad to have a place like 1866 in town to grab a meal and hang out at for a while.

First time customer. Nice cozy ambiance, super friendly servers. We had the Cuban sandwich which was comparable to a Miami Cubano…very good, just a bit too salty. The fried pickles were tasty, paired perfectly with my draft . My husband had the steak which was a little on the tough side but flavorful. Black beans were a little heavy on the salt…recommend using seasoning and less to no salt. Great customer service.

I noticed the disclaimer on the POS up front that stated ALL menu items are priced for cash sales only and that any other for if payment was subject to an additional fee that was NOT disclosed on the menu or the front door. Also does not state what the additional fee might be. Fortunately I was paying cash…once I payed cash n cash I wanted for my receipt but had to request one instead. I followed with “please don’t tell me I don’t get a receipt if I pay cash” in witch the second server replied with “ I will not have an answer you will like” the servers and staff were amazing unfortunately financially it seems sis.

We were there on a quiet Monday night. Looking at the menu, there is a nice variety for a small place and thought the prices were reasonable. Alway like supporting local. Owner came over and visited. I will be back.

I gave the service a 3 rating but in all reality it was a 5. There was a young lady and young man working and there was a huge table of probally atleast 10 Army Guys & Gals so it took alot of time to get to others, which I understood and the food was well worth the wait. We were in town for a Youth BB tournament and the kids gave a thumbs up to the Wings..

Super tasty salad with grilled to order sirloin that was perfectly grilled, tender and flavorful and served up fresh and warm from the gril! Instantly received a friendly greeting as I entered and throughout my visit the service was gracious and friendly.
