As a long time patron, I have noticed over time that the quality has slowly deteriorated in tandem with an increase in price (which is understandable given current economic conditions, but I digress). I usually find that my food is under cooked, despite the wait time. A longer wait would be more than acceptable in exchange for better quality food. Some dishes are inconsistent, for example the Singapore Mei Fun Noodles (#44) were served in a broth and were not spicy, in contrast with how they usually are served.

I’ve been eating here for years. 2 days ago I ordered the beef and broccoli. I have been sick for the last 48hours using the bathroom and vomiting non-stop. Something was clearly not right with the food this time. Won’t be ordering from there ever again.

We highly recommend visiting hot wok 88 they have a great staff, food is excellent with outstanding flavor. All prepared in a short time! Not to mention very clean. Highly recommend HotWok 88 for those busy work nights or weekends quick meals!

It was okay. The fried rice was different but still good. By different I mean the rice was yellow but still tasted like fried rice. The wonton soup I ordered was good as well. It was fast and hot when it arrived.

Our first visit here. The beef with mushroom was one of the best Chinese dishes I have ever had! The servings were generous. Beef & Broccoli had more broccoli that is customary and it was steamed bright green instead of 3 little gray limp pieces of broccoli as many restaurants serve. The fried rice was merely OK. All in all a satisfying lunch and reasonably priced. Recommended.

We’ve been ordering from here for over 3 years, and we never had a complaint. Food has always been great. Tonight, however, we had 1 small order with white rice & shrimp. I was given 5 shrimps and a whole lot of rice. I called Hot Wok and asked how many shrimp were supposed to be in the box, & was told 10. I said that I counted 5 in total, and the response was: We count our shrimp, and to look at the bottom of the box not knowing the box was emptied on a plate. The gentleman on the phone did not believe me, and didn’t want to hear anymore. I accept it, but will not return. Their food however, is really good. Just make sure you get 10 shrimp when making the same order lol.

I was skeptical because of all the mixed reviews, but I went ahead and tried this place and EVERYTHING I ordered was delicious! Really glad I tried it! The sesame chicken was well battered, hot and fresh, no chewy or dry meat, and the sauce was really tasty! The boneless spare ribs were so yummy, the sauce is so sweet/tangy and I honestly just kept going back for more even after I was full. Fried dumplings were great as well, the dipping sauce with them was one of my favorites so far and I’ve tried fried dumplings from LOTS of different restaurants. Pork fried rice was a huge portion with lots of onions/peas/carrots and everything was seasoned well, so so so tasty! I’ve been looking for a new place to get good sesame chicken for a long time since my go to spot closed down, and I’m happy to say I found it! Do yourself a favor and don’t buy into the bad reviews too much, try it for yourself and see!
