The place is very clean. Their onion rings are the best I’ve had in the CDA area. They’re light and crisp and not heavily breaded or crunchy like many I’ve had. Their burger is good. Yes it might be smaller in some people’s tastes but it was fresh and tasty.

Best burger I’ve had in a LONG time! Some other reviews say the portions are small. I completely disagree. How large of a portion of fries are you expecting for 2 bucks? I think the portions are excellent, especially considering how affordable everything is!

We arrived just a bit before closing but staff was happy to accommodate. Burgers were tasty, and just the right size. Drink options included cold beer as well as the normal offerings of soda and lemonade, which was a great surprise. Staff was easy going and great to work with.

Amazing burgers!! They were so flavorful, hot and juicy!! It was very quick and you could taste that they just came off the grill!! It was one of the Best burgers I have ever had and at the best price too!! There menu is basic but it helps highlight how amazing the burger itself is!! I also loved their tater tots and hom made fry sauce!! The service was exceptional as well, all around 5 stars!!!

I moved to Coeur D Alene a few months ago and tried Surf Shack. The food was great. I met the owner who was a very cool guy and the employees I have met have all provided great service. They have great french fries, very good burgers, and reasonable prices. I do not leave a lot of reviews but I wanted to leave this because this is one of the best burger joints I have been to in years. Much better than In and Out.

We had a beautifully polite and professional Brigitte greet us, take our order, and bring it to our tables as well… the burgers were out of this world and the french fries were on point. Wow, what an awesome burger Joint. The staff and owner are super cool and friendly. The cook recommended the double bacon cheeseburger and they were absolutely off the chain fantastic. The atmosphere is really cool and laid back with a definite surf based decor.
