Had a family dinner at Michaelangelo’s recently and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were seated outside on the porch and it was lovely. Nathan, our waiter, was very attentive. We’ve eaten here several times, and the food is always delicious. The owners and staff really care.

One of the best meals I have had in NJ. Excellently flavored, seasoned, and cooked to perfection (I had the lamb chops al porta). Porch seating was perfect on an afternoon as the sun is behind the building by that point. Full disclosure, I took a bite of the chop before taking the pic 🙂

This restaurant is one of my favorites. The owner is a gentleman who runs his restaurant the way it should be run. He always comes around to make sure everything is the way it should be and that his customers are happy, and he is very accommodating with reservations. The food is very, very good, especially my personal favorite, the chicken Domenico. Fresh quality ingredients go into all of the meals. The wait staff, namely Nathan, is very efficient and friendly as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal.

The food, the service, the decor were great. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because we ordered clams and the breading was so dense, they tasted like something frozen. They were so bad that we couldn’t eat 6. But the Rest of the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The owner greets everyone as they come in and again as you leave. I will be going back and hope to give another review.

I am way overdue in posting this review, but we had my brothers repast here in Dec 2018 and not only was the service and food incredible, Dominic the owner was so compassionate and caring and made sure that everything was perfect. It was a luncheon, and we definitely overstayed our welcome LOL but the team set up their evening event around the few of us who were left reminiscing about my baby brother and didn’t rush us out, in fact they insisted we stay and enjoy ourselves. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of all the details and treating us so well. Highly recommend…they have private room with bar upstairs. Perfect for any event.
