We ordered 2 large sweet n sour chickens an a large chicken fried rice and it was $60…. But the quality of the food is disgusting. I have never in my 24 years of living seen the chicken soaked in the sweet n sour sauce. The chicken is soggy as hell because it’s been sitting in the sweet n sour sauce and then the chicken fried rice is dry. We payed $60 an would expect more out of it. Now we are just throwing $60 in the trash because that’s where the dinner is going.

Food was excellent. Kid who served us seemed bothered that he had to put down his phone to take care of us. No manners or personality. Obviously didn’t care about his tip which could have been much bigger given how generous we are.

I love this place! Every time I come, the staff is so nice and courteous. I get the beef lo mein, and pot stickers every time! Noah is an excellent waiter, and is super polite. Great food and atmosphere. Can’t reccomend enough!

Went here for the first time today. Got in and ordered and payed at 3:50 pm. I ordered two items. Nothing extravagant, Mongolian Beef and Orange Chicken.Was advised the order would take 30 minutes. I came back 33 minutes later at 4:23 pm and was then told it the order wasn’t ready yet. There was one booth with two people sitting down and the rest of the restaurant was empty. I waited until 4:44 and then my order was brought out. 54 minutes to get an order from an empty restaurant with 5 people working in the back. The food was just okay, I’ve had better, the service was and F-. The prices are not that inexpensive either. Horrendous customer service. If you have all afternoon, by all means give them a try. If you actually want to eat in a resaonable time frame run do walk away from this establishment. I would not recommend this restaurant to my hungriest friends or any friend for that matter.

Wehave been to this place for years and this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in town! Their lunch special is a true steal! You can try a lot of different dishes/soups/snacks for only a few bucks. I tried their L12 Home style beef tendon(one of our favorites), triple slices fish filet and L07 Sichuan Poached beef today! All tasted good! The waitress checked on us frequently and was kind. It wasn’t too expensive and the portion sizes were reasonable. And our other favorite menus are H02 Squirrel shaped fish w. Sweet and sour sauce, P04 pork w. Bamboo shoot, SS8 west lake beef soup. Sometimes we order thro DoorDash but always tastes better when we dine in 🙂

Chan’s has been around paw paw since i was a kid, of course it’s changed hands a few times, and had different Chefs work the kitchen. It’s never gotten bad in quality, it’s always delivered a consistent service that keeps it alive in the village of paw paw. Where many other newcomers and fancy restaurants have fallen. It’s now sorta a tradition to go least once every 2 weeks or so. Even when moneys a bit tight
