We love our local Waffle House We’ve been going to this location for over 20 years and love our local staff. Ms. Pat is our usual morning waitress and she is phenomenal! Ms.Tia was an amazing cook and we hated losing her to Colorado Springs. Joe and Kayla make our night visits superior too! The food is always right and the know our ” usual order” by heart ❤️. We love them all. Can’t believe how important it is to us to share an affordable meal and have the relationships with all the staff here.

Just went in for an early breakfast and NO ONE was in the kitchen and one server was ASLEEP at a table! He lifted his head when we called out ‘hello’ and said ‘They not back there?, then put his HEAD BACK DOWN. It was 6am which is early, but not THAT early for a Waffle House. Definitely a bad situation. Another customer pulled up as we were leaving and asked if anyone was in there, too. Crazy.

Quality and service always impeccable. What stood out for me is at 1 pm on a Sunday I was seated at the tail end of the rush hour storm. A bit of a wait and I had to mention the coffee wasn’t fresh but the pot was already brewing for a better cup. Thank you for the smiles despite being visibly put through the business wringer. Commendable.

Loved the staff there… the bathrooms no south were a bit messy and stinky… however the food was always a delight to have… the eggs, hash browns, coffee, grits, bacon, as always they do a great job in that… if you near by kindly stop by as the place is open during this time of the pandemic for dine in.

Hadn’t been inside a waffle house in over 5 years. It was all female staff late night and service was great. Stove area was clean and cook was friendly. No food was burned, none! I live across town but would easily come back to see them for a late night snack!

What is it about Irmo? The place was nasty, our waitress non interested in serving us and the food mediocre. Which part of the words Cheesy eggs means leave the cheese out? I am crossing Irmo off my foodie list. If I absolutely HAVE to eat at a Waffle House I’ll trip back to Blythewood. I KNOW they clean occasionally.
