It’s easily some of the best sushi I’ve eaten in Tucson. Hana Tokyo is very clean. It is located in a good spot and family-friendly. They have a sushi bar, a hibachi, and a regular menu, so there is a lot going on. I ordered the Vegss and the Mexican rolls, and they were delicious! My server was very patient with me, as it was my first time eating there, and she was the one who suggested I try the rolls I got. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

I ordered two appetizers, 2 sushi rolls and an entree. I wanted to try several things from the menu and my date and I couldn’t decide what we wanted. The front desk seating process is rather dry and devoid of any interest. Our server was also the bartender, she was both kind and attentive. Crab wontons were very nice, the Japanese spring roll was rather doughy and not terribly flavorful. We ordered the Angry Dragon roll and the “roulette” roll. The angry dragon was okay, the roulette tried to overcome the jalapeño flavor, but ultimately it tasted like a deep fried jalapeño. The chicken teriyaki was the entree we chose, it was bland and rather boring. The fried rice had really nothing going on. Portion sizes are good, and the prices aren’t terribly expensive. The ambiance was one where you got the sense it was designed to provide an elevated dining experience, but no one wants to invest in keeping it that way. The facility isn’t old enough to look this beat down. In short, it’s a west side Sakura, it won’t impress but it will fill the belly of the beast. Would I return? Probably not.

We have been here so many times now! My kids love the sweet potato roll. The food is so good the service is awesome!! The place is so clean and so calming. We’ve gone at lunch and the lunch specials are a good deal and a great variety. My son is a very picky Eater but loves the chicken Katsu on the kids menu. Very big kids portion btw which is awesome cuz my 2 lil ones can share a bento box and it’s the right amount.

We thought about leaving when we first arrived, fue us standing at the front of the restaurant and 2 servers/waitresses looking at us but not acknowledging us at all! We stayed because I wanted my wife to try it, we waited like 7-9 minutes of back and forth eye contact but no acknowledgement. But when seated the waitress we had was polite(was not one of the other 2 waitresses). The food was delicious but expensive.

Went out for a friend’s birthday and had a great time. The atmosphere was nice, staff friendly, and delicious food. We definitely recommend the fried ice cream, Blushing geisha and Gummy bear mixed drinks. Our bill including tip was about $190.

It wasn’t a good first experience. The food came out decently quick and the service was alright. The actual food itself was subpar. I ordered the Super Dragon Roll and all I can say is that I’ve had better sushi from certain grocery stores. I was also able to taste scallop and lobster from the King of the Sea plate. Both were lacking. Others in the table were also disappointed with what they ordered. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but I don’t see myself returning here.

Food is always excellent!!!! We love the food. We try to order the food because its not the cleanest place. It is ver my unfortunate though that front desk is super bad when making calls over to them. They dont have good customer service at all over phone but waiters are great. Today I had a terrible experience because I needed to call them regarding my order and their phone was not allowing calls through. You might say,”maybe they were on another call” well i called 13 times in 20 min and nothing. It said “sorry, you can not leave a message for…….” And their number. It wouldn’t even ring. I tried another in sierra vista and theirs was working just fine so it was just this one. I just needed extra sauces since as you can see, they are cheap with the amount they add to the delivery. I ordered 3 rolls and they gave me this, not even full, not even the regular size containers. Again, best sushi rolls, but not very good on the rest of the experience. Staff service a 2 waiter service a 4 food a 5plus and phone service a negative 5.

Food was exceptional steak were juice and tender shrimp cooked to perfection the lobsters was a little over done but still great taste and veggies were cooked just right not under or over cooked and there California roll was the perfect appetizer,, the waitress was courtius and friendly I wish I could say the same for the receptionist but apart from that was a nice experience it’s a little price but it’s worth every penny will definitely be coming back.

Just got an order delivered from them. Terrible food and the whole order was incorrect. The French fries looked like they sat for days. They were stale just like the burger. The whole order was cold. The teriyaki chicken was mostly rice with MAYBE 2 bites of chicken. No wonder it was buy one get one. Tbh, one of the worst meals I’ve had. I do not recommend.

There wasn’t many people in here but was told there’s a 3 hour wait and rude front girls. Wouldn’t go there ever again. They need to learn how to treat customers and provide service. However I was more than happy to head to Red lobster for our family dinner well worth the $580 spent there. Doubt this place could have matched the food quality.
