I’ve driven by this place a million times and, intrigued by its name, decided to finally give it a try. Though the indoor seating is quite limited, if you have to wait to eat here…DO IT! It’s well worth the wait. Just check out the lovely bookstore a few doors down until your table is ready. I’m far from being a burger lover, but I couldn’t get enough of my Hitman burger. I skipped the pimento cheese, but that fried mozzarella on it was fabulous. I don’t do potato wedge-type fries, but I gave some to my family to try and all of them were exclaiming how delicious they were. My entire party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. A gentleman from another table told us he was coming back again and again to eat his way through the entire menu because everything is just so good. We agreed that we would do exactly the same. As if we didn’t already have countless reasons to return, the chef blessed us with a complimentary Oreo Cheesecake with Chantilly Cream. My husband was already stuffed from the perfectly fried chicken and incredible cornbread, but he couldn’t stop eating that dessert, especially the Chantilly Cream. Can’t wait to go back!

Smaller than what you would think but has all the goodness of a soul food kitchen! Just try to get there early because they can run out quickly. I’m not usually a mac and cheese type of person but this place had the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had! I would even try it without the fried chicken. The watermelon beet salad was delicious too but maybe a little too much feta. I preferred the chicken parm over the smash burger!

I drive by Fork and Hen everyday on my way to work and decided to finally try it. I cannot believe I’ve waited as long as I did; not only was the food was exceptional, the environment and staff really give you those “home town vibes” that seem impossible to get in Sarasota. We got the ribs, chicken sandwich, fried chicken Mac n cheese, l the Brussels sprouts, and everything was literally mouth watering. I cannot say enough good things about this place, we will DEFINITELY be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Fork and Hen restaurant and I am impressed! The southern style menu was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and I was amazed by the variety of options available. The crispy hot chicken sandwich was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our dining experience even better. I would highly recommend Fork and Hen to anyone looking for a delicious southern style meal. It’s definitely an experience I won’t soon forget!

Such a wonderful location. I have had the opportunity to go several times and try menu items as well as the daily specials. Every plate has its unique flavor combinations and is perfectly executed! It is obvious the Chef has passion for food and creativity which it shows! Definitely recommend this place to anyone that is in search of a unique flavor experience with amazing food and hospitality!

Adorable little place with amazing food! The girl working took such care with explaining options, making suggestions, answering questions. And the food was great quality. Buffalo chicken wrap was enough for 2 meals. All the plates that came out of the kitchen were beautifully presented. Can’t wait to go back and try other items as they all looked so delicious!
