The waffle fries were cold, Amsterdam sandwich with maple butter was not great once the novelty wore out. and the hibiscus tea tasted like water even though I had asked for it to be sweetened with lemonade. the cooks were all very nice, although the pos system was slow at the time of my visit. I imagine the sweet waffles may be better but I was not interested in coming back.

A novel and delightful spot for a breakfast or lunch sandwiches served between two crispy small-square waffles. Honestly everything on the menu is good, but the windmill was a good choice! Service was quick, the staff super friendly and cold brew was good too!

I like the thin waffles used to make these sandwiches! Anything with the maple butter is so good! Definitely need to eat it immediately for best waffle texture. The longer it stays in the container the softer the waffle gets. The bacon and sausage and cheese here is really high quality and there are lots of vegetarian and vegan options too. The sweet waffle with blueberries and lemon Bavarian creme is excellent! I also really like the salad they make here. It’s a spinach salad with beets, blueberries, soft goat cheese, shaved almonds, and a light and tangy dressing that is so tasty!

If you have not tried this place, you are missing out. I have been at least 5 times and I try something new everytime, never been disappointed. The sweets are decadent and rich and delicious. The savory sandwiches have an incredible complexity that can only be described as heaven. The club is easily the best club sandwich I’ve ever had. Must have.

Amazing simple delicious waffles sandwiches. The savory are good if you’re hungry, they have crazy options like Nutella bacon waffle sandwich. But also wonderful dessert like peanut butter cup with chocolate ganache and simply delicious whipped cream.

The Nutella whipped cream banana waffle sandwich I got exceeded my expectations. It was big enough to share with the date I was on. For some reason it reminded me of a warm chocolate chip cookie. The flavor was insane… I was really stoked to finally give this place a try. I don’t get out to eat very often so it’s nice when you don’t get dissapointed. I plan to go back of Im in the area.

Smaaken is so good! I order it so much that I am in the top buyers on Uber Eats. I have gotten my coworkers to love them as well. My staple is a Monte Carlo, waffle fries, and lemonade. Smaaken is my stress food at work because it makes me so happy! I absolutely recommend giving them a try. Fresh is always best, but these are waffles that travel well as well!

Well I would give it a better “atmosphere” rating but it’s a cart. It would be a great sandwich shop but seems to be doing well as a cart. Completely wonderful food, if I were closer I’d go thru the complete menu. I will be eventually doing that but not this week.

Delicious waffles! Thin and crispy while still fluffy. I really appreciate how dairy free and vegan options are available and clearly marked on their menu. I first ordered the vegan sausage and maple butter. The sausage was yummy and savory. The coconut maple butter was melted into my waffle perfectly. I also ordered the chocolate and whipped cream adding bananas (pictured) which I also loved. A good dairy free chocolate and whipped cream is hard to find so I will definitely be back here! Good price point for quality ingredients and portion size- between 7-10 dollars for most items. Located inside BG’s food cart pod.
