Our waitress tonight was a very pleasant young lady named Dottie. She was attentive and made sure everything our first experience eating at this restaurant was wonderful. She took the time to explain the menu and popular items to us.. Good food and great service go a long way in today’s world . You will find both at this restaurant.

I don’t know why I don’t come here more often. It is close to home, have at least 3 meal specials every day of the week, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is always efficient and friendly. Tucked away in the back of a parking lot it doesn’t like like much but when you get inside it is a beautiful big open floor plan dining room with ample tables and booths. The menu is simple but has something for everyone. It’s truly a “family” restaurant where everyone is happily enjoying their food and each other’s company. Portions are generous and affordable. It reminds me of my childhood and the times we ate out with my parents. I started my meal with a Loaded Potato Soup. With shredded cheese, real bacon bits and scallions added fresh to the top it is a rainbow of flavors when you mix it all up. Potatoes where soft & tender so no complaints whatsoever. My main entree was a steak sandwich with a side of Mac N Cheese. The Mac was a little watery so a little more cheese would have made it perfect, but it was still great and cooked perfectly, not over or under like other places. The steak was a big portion on a hamburger bun. So much that I cut it in half to make a nice thick sandwich of a medium cooked steak that was tender and flavorful. With lettuce and tomatoes and a touch of Heinz 57 & hot sauce……I was in Heaven with each bite. And the cherry on top of this experience was my waitress Dawn…….she made sure my water & tea were always topped off and asked ahead of my food arriving if I needed any condiments. When my meal arrived I was all set to dig in because she had everything covered. This will officially be my “Home” restaurant……we all need one.

I got the flounder and popcorn shrimp. Shrimp was not deveined, which means it containedpoop. Kinda gross. Fish had no seasoning or flavor. They gave me a very small amount of fries which were soggy. The only positive thing I have to say is the ranch was good!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside the location looks sketchy. Inside is more updated with simple and friendly decor. The food was tasty. The staff was very friendly and chatty but needed to work on active listening. 2 of 4 meals were entered incorrectly. For example the Buffalo Chicken Salad was ordered after a discussion of what was in it. She later came to ask if I ordered the salad, as if to confirm. Then the Buffalo chicken appetizers were placed in front of me.

They have the absolute best steak salad that I have tasted. The staff are awesome, I love this place. I had ordered 2 spaghetti entrees recently and I fed my whole family, their portion sizes are worth the money and it’s not expensive at all. The black pepper catfish is also extremely good. Definitely recommend this place
