My son and I decided to eat at June’s while we were walking around Sisters. My son had a yellow curry chicken dish and i had teriyaki chicken and spring rolls with plum sauce. It was amazingly good. We visit Sisters every July and will be returning to June’s as a highlight of the trip.

This small family-owned restaurant in Sisters has fun decor and fresh food, all cooked by June herself. The facilities are dated but clean, and the staff is very small but nice. If your taste buds have become accustomed to commercial East Asian food from places like Panda Express or out of a box from the freezer aisle, June’s will remind you what vegetable rolls are supposed to taste like.

We ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Yellow Curry, and Salad Rolls. My partner said the Yellow Curry wasn’t the best in town, but the large portion was worth the $14. I hate to say it, but the Chicken Teriyaki was hands down the worst I’ve ever had (think low end cafeteria quality), though the spring roll that comes with it was good. The Salad Rolls were also good. The inside of the restaurant was very cute, and in spite of not being happy with my meal this time, we’ll probably give it another shot sometime and try dining in.

Mandarin chicken salad and the pot stickers with a plum sauce were amazing and very flavorful! Highly recommend this yummy place. Also got beef and broccoli , best quality and flavor I’ve ever had. Will add this to my must visit when in town or passing through Sisters.

Had lunch here yesterday and it was fantastic, as it always is. I got the Tom Kha coconut based soup with tofu & veggies, so delicious, and my friend got the veggie rolls which she also said were excellent. It wasn’t busy at all even during the lunch hour, so head on over and show June some love! You won’t be disappointed.
