I like this place. They have daily specials, Wednesday is wings and karaoke. The food is very good and you won’t leave hungry! We keep going back for the rib dinner and the wings on Wednesdays. We do order other things, but those are are favs so far. The side salad is very nice, not just lettuce and tomatoes. Look at tge picture!!

Great stop for breakfast on the way home from OBX. Delicious bacon/sausage egg & sandwiches and grits. We had a slice of pecan pie with our coffee and it was some of the best we’ve had. Quick and easy stop for takeout and affordable!

Very poor service. We were unlucky to be assigned a guy who would rather jibber jabber with customers he knew and the staff than take good care of his tables. He forgot to bring our drinks, let our food sit under the warmers instead of serving it promptly, neglected to refill our drinks, and I had to get up and go to the kitchen to get a box and a check. I could have laughed that off if the food was great, which it wasn’t. Good thing their barbeque sauces are good, because the barbeque is bland and lacking smoked flavor. My french fries were inexcusably limp and soggy. Snap beans were standard overcooked canned stuff. My wife said her liver and onions was okay. Well, at least they have liver and onions. They have a strong local following, but as locals ourselves, we’ll chalk this one up to just another disappointingly average area restaurant. Too bad, because we really had expected to enjoy it.

Literally the best little cafe to stop and eat at after a long day of traveling. The BEST crab dip I’ve ever eaten. There’s a reason that the burgers come with a steak knife but they are grilled to perfection. Finally, all of the desserts are homemade and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend!

Excellent homemade meals and desserts. Staff was pleasant. We also met the owners, fantastic people. This will be a regular stop for us anytime we travel through the area.

Small town dining at its best. Great variety of food. I got the fried seafood platter: fried fish, crab cake, and fried shrimp with your choice of 2 sides. Delicious. A definite stop on your way to or from the Outer Banks.

You can’t go wrong here. Food, service & value are great! Stop coming or going from the OBX. We love the grilled wings on Wed, weekend breakfast, homemade desserts and we use them for catering where they are always professional and attentive. Look up Wanda & BJ when you are there to experience the ultimate Southern charm!

The food is good there, this particular time the waiter didn’t listen even though he wrote it down to my order. It wasn’t correct

Great place for a sandwich and amazing sweets! I had their grilled cheese BLT which had their delicious pimento cheese in it. All of their brownies, cinnamon rolls, and cookies are amazing!
