I wanted to try the new beer selections at Schwäitzer. heard they had a few new beers on tap and bottles. Took my daughter on Sat April 9th ( If you don’t go for the food, the beer is pretty good). We decided to eat dinner, shared a platter of fries that had some type of curry sauce. Wasn’t sure I would like the flavor, but it was pretty good. Ordered the Chef trout (heard it was good)with braised carrots and roasted brussels sprouts. I’ve got to say, it was pretty good. The fish was not fishy tasting had a good flavor, the carrots and brussels sprouts cooked just right and full of flavor.. I tried a few of the new beers and found that I really liked the Dragons Milk… a dark beer with lots of flavor.. The waitress was great, got the food in a timely manner, food was good temp and had a good time.

Our first time trying this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good with good sized portions. Service was good and the atmosphere is pleasing. We went for lunch but plan on coming back for the dinner menu. All of our group had the potato soup and we all agreed it was awesome.

Visiting my friend who took me to this place. Excellent food and atmosphere. Not sure of the actual menu item but it was a brisket sandwich with sauerkraut and German sauce. This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. My only regret is I’m only visiting for two days and won’t be able to return to eat here again. Did I mention it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had

By far one of my top 3 places to eat great food and have a great beer. Genuine German food with a limited, but high quality menu. They always have great suggestions and are always happy to see you walk through their door.

Great little German restaurant in Seymour. Visited here with a friend while over from the UK. There is a great selection of beers, and the food is authentic and amazing. Awesome place with welcoming, warm, and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

If you don’t live in Seymore check the map. No big deal just know your way from the main street.

The service was good, there weren’t a lot of people there because there was a festival going on across the street. I would have loved more options on the menu. We had the poutine with sliced knackwurst and curry ketchup.

I don’t have much experience with German food, but the four of us decided to give it a try. We were all very pleased with our meals. The food was fantastic and the staff was awesome. Great beer selection too (Octoberfest was our favorite). This restaurant is worth a visit – you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing food!! We had a large portion of the menu and everything was delicious. The dopplebach on tap was delicious. This place just opened and I wouldn’t expect it to stay hidden long. Definitely get the potato soup and get a plate of fries with the beer cheese to share on the table.
