Found this Mexican restaurant by accident while originally heading elsewhere. Ate dinner on their colorful patio with plants. The server was friendly and quick, and I really enjoyed the meatless Nachos Grande and creamy Jalapeno Poppers. The Vegetarian Tinga Chili Burrito was decent, and the Avocado Frita Tacos were a bit bland until we added tomato salsa, which made them taste awesome. The House Salad was disappointing and not worth $7.75. Overall, I was pleased with the service and taste. Prices are moderate, averaging around $30 or more.

The service was excellent but unfortunately the Mexican food lacked flavor. The chicken had hardly any seasoning, not even salt, and the rice, pico, beans, and vegetables suffered the same fate of lack of any real flavor. The highlight was the bbq portion of the menu as the 1/2 rack bbq ribs were spot on. I wish they’d put the same energy into their Mexican food.

What a fantastic dining experience! We had a most wonderful host who welcomed us and told us about the menu. The food was fantastic! Do yourself a favor and get the BBQ tacos or the burrito. Delicious, flavorful, filling. Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Food here was delicious and served up super fast. We didn’t wait for a table and the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful! Portions were super large – the steak tacos were over flowing and served on heaps of rice and beans. We ordered the “bar sized” burritos because they were smaller (we had eaten a few too many chips with their delicious homemade salsa) and we still couldn’t finish them. Finally, we also ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was stuffed filled of their delicious grilled chicken and cheese.

The chips and salsa was great! The guac was very fresh but needed a little something extra. The service was quick but ordering was painful. And unfortunately the food lacks flavor. I ordered shrimp quesadillas, and there was more cheese than shrimp. The shrimp was cooked great but almost tasted boiled since there was absolutely no flavor. Even the cheese had no flavor. I tried adding the guac to my dish and still didn’t punch up the flavor. Bad first impression..won’t be returning.

The food was ok, a bit overcooked, not very flavorful (bland like hospital food), and with small portions. It’s a bit overpriced but the service was excellent. It’s a small little place but it’s very comfortable and the people are very kind, friendly, and accommodating.
