Fun and great little country kitchen. A wonderful breakfast menu. Quite a few lunch specials. And a nice selection of pies. Was excited to stumble across this place. Average meal seemed to be about $10. But the serving was large, actually shareable. Can’t wait to go back and try the fried green tomatoes

Stopped in here on a Friday evening for dinner. Ordered the BBQ fried chicken dinner because I had heard they were known for their chicken. This dish is a half of a chicken with two large side dishes. It was probably the best chicken I had ever eaten. The meat was moist and thick. The BBQ sauce was a little on the sweet side, which is how I like it. There was enough food for two meals but I couldn’t stop eating the chicken into it was gone. If you like fried chicken and BBQ sauce, this is an amazing meal.

Waited 45 minutes for one of the worst meals we’ve had in awhile! We went in for breakfast and it was a terrible experience as far as the food…our waitress was wonderful and this doesn’t reflect at all on her…our whole meal was cold…biscuits weren’t cooked enough and doughy and hardly any sausage in the gravy for the biscuits & gravy….eggs runny and cold…French toast was disappointing….bacon (which arrived late after the waitress repeatedly had to ask for it) wasn’t cooked on one side and burnt on the other and was inedible…used to get 3 sausage patties in a serving and now only get 2. Prices went up and quality and quantity went down. I really feel bad for our waitress having to try to take care of customers with food coming out of the kitchen like that! She was the only pleasant thing about our meal. Used to be a really nice little place to eat but something happened in their kitchen that ruined the whole experience.

The food was good. I really liked the Apple Cinnamon sweet bread. My husband liked the Fried Chicken dinner meal. I had the Carolina Chicken Salad, it was great! Very large portions. They had issues with being out of our requested beverages. We ended up getting the sweet tea and it was very good. I’d like to try their breakfast menu soon.

I’ve dined there several times for Rueben sandwiches and they have always been great. Have never had pie until the last visit. The pie was tiny with a big price and the crust had no flavor and the texture was like eating gum. My friend’s pie was also tiny and so dry and hard he couldn’t chew it. We plan to go again but will skip dessert!

Eggs runny, biscuits doughy, sausage gravy runny, sausage patties reduced to two small patties, everything was cold. The waitress was the only thing very nice. Forgot to mention, 45 minute wait on top of everything else.

First time visiting today! What a wonderful little diner. Our breakfast was delicious. Fresh bread toasted perfect. French toast made from fresh bread was very good. Even loved the whip butter and syrup was mildly sweet. Thinly sliced potatoes as your hashbrowns. Bacon had a fresh taste and crispy. Ham slice was not Salty like you may get at a restaurant. Tiny cup of fresh jam with toasts, biscuits or English muffins. Eggs tasted farm fresh. Purchased a Coconut Pie and a Peanut Butter pie to go. Coconut pie is so yummy!

the food looked great until I tasted it. ordered Philly cheese steak and fries. fries were fresh cut, VERY salty. sandwich had a good portion of meat on it, but kind of dry, the horseradish sauce was fantastic, too bad the rest of the meal wasn’t. Drove from Toledo won’t be doing that again.
