Lali Cafe
Customer service was great. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and made to feel welcomed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make for the lack of cleanliness. The bathroom was nasty and the stench extended to the whole place. Ordered chips and salsa, and when I was brought the hot sauce to the table almost threw up when I saw the ring of crust around the opening of the bottle.

I was recently in Jacksonville for a work conference and needed a quick place to grab lunch that was close to the hotel. This place might not look like much on the outside, but the food was FANTASTIC. Best french fries I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. The workers were all very friendly, and this would definitely be a regular stop for me if I was a local. A fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere.

This place was horrible for food. I ordered the chicken “Thumbs” which are said to be hand breaded. The bar tender said they had changed the oil in the morning. I didn’t ask and he explained this. Basically apologized and justified the poor food before I could send it back. I think he just didn’t want to deal with the cook. I saw another review where the food came out like this. This was terrible. Should have never left the kitchen. The back area of these restaurants are sometimes on the news for raw sewage. It’s really just a place to go get beer and drinks and play pool and listen to live music. Don’t try to eat here and think it’s going to be anything special.

While doing a staycation at the nearby Marriott, we ventured over to this spot and had dinner. We gave the food a four because the wings weren’t cooked as crispy as we would have liked them to be and to send them back after the seasoning had been added, wouldn’t have been idea but they were good.

Jasmine is the bomb… working the whole bar alone after a Jax football game. Wings were amazing. Beer is cold. AND they have Genesee Cream Ale on draft. Our after game spot!

Met a friend of mine from out of town at Wildkats. I have to say we were treated like family. J. and R. behind the bar were top notch getting us food and drink. Great conversation with staff and clientele! I’m definitely returning!

Solid dive bar. This place is mostly basketball/sports focused. I went in to watch the hockey game and they where nice enough to change one of the TVs to the game. The real highlight was the bartender, he was absolutely one of the funniest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with. I recommend this location if you can snag the right bartender.

Went in to order food to go at the bar. The bartender was friendly and my food came out pretty fast. Everything was good, your typical bar type food. My favorite were the onion rings.

It’s a neat local bar and restaurant with a creative and tasty menu and a wide beverage selection. The burgers were great. Make sure to check out the walls of “Tipper Fame” and “Tipper Shame” to see the best and worst of humanity.
