First time here. Had the appetizer sampler. Really delicious. Best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. Ordered the Yard Bird with baked potato and mac and cheese. The chicken needed seasoning. But was tasty. My favorite was the rolls with strawberry butter. Service was excellent!

Great menu and wine list. The waitstaff and bartenders are well trained and really nice. Bacon, boom boom shrimp, filet, and all the sides I’ve tried have been delicious. Save room for dessert if you love chocolate!

Ordered the dry aged ribeye med rare, and it came out completely blackened on the outside. I can appreciate a good crust, but it was like licking a back of Kingsford. The server was very kind and offered to have it replaced quickly, but the second one came out blue rare… maybe cooked 2 min per side at most. Kept that one, but only because I figured I could re-cook it at home in the morning with some eggs.

My wife and I celebrated our 1st Anniversary there tonight. We had the grilled thick cut bacon with pepper jelly and goat cheese for the appetizer. It was very good. Intense flavors with no heat from the jelly. Our main course was 16oz New York Strip medium rare. The sides we chose were asparagus and sweet creamed corn. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The asparagus was absolutely delicious. Both my wife and I were in unison on the fact that the corn dish was the star of the show. We jokingly said that next time we will just order a gallon of Sweet Creamed Corn and the rolls. Our desserts were pecan pie and Bananas Foster Cheesecake. We were so full and satisfied. We could barely walk out the door. Definitely worth the trip to Oxford on a Sunday night.

Friendly on the phone. We called to make sure dining room open. They were. Then they were even more friendly in person. Great specials. I got the surf and turf. My wife the sea bass on risotto. We shared Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. All were excellent. Can’t say enough good about it. Great drinks too. Would highly recommend.
