Very fine Mexican cuisine served by one of the nicest and most knowledgeable about the food waitresses possible! Servings were bountiful on the “special” fajita plates. Food was served nice and hot… Not pepper hot, though you can add amount desired. The chips and salsa served before the meal were delicious! Our son, a retired Marine, treated us to lunch and we couldn’t have had a more enjoyable meal.

1 star is only for the margarita we had. The menus were very sticky obviously no one cleans them. Female with glasses was very rude continuously rolled her eyes and made us wait a long time for a table even though they were empty. We repeatedly had to ask for utensils even after the food was delivered to the table. We order a crab and shrimp quesadilla, they used imitation crab which had no flavor. Veggies we’re very dry as well as the cactus. Won’t be coming back el mariachi is way better!! The server with the glasses needs a lesson on customer service!

My family has eaten here twice. First time we ate at the restaurant. The food was pretty good but not great. The service was terrible, our waitress was standing around playing on her phone. We had to get up to get someone to refill our drinks everytime. If we hadn’t, we would of never seen the waitress again. Second time, we opted for carryout. This time the food was horrible. I dont know if they changed there recipes but everything was super spicy, way more spicy then any other Mexican restaurant in town. Taco salad with beef, the beans were cold and didn’t even taste like they had been cooked at all. The beef (what little there was) tasted off and smelled like it might of been spoiled. The ACP had all kinds of stuff in it, stuff couldn’t even identify. The chips were stale, but so stale they had to of been a week old. Worst Mexican restaurant in town.

Once we ordered our food we didn’t see our waitress again for an hour. We asked 3 people for a ticket so we could pay and leave and no one ever returned. I wish I could at least say the food was good but my chicken was over cooked and hard to chew. This place used to be pretty good but it’s really gone downhill. We won’t be returning.

Visited today for the second time after the first experience was terrible but figured it was because they were newly opened at the time. Today they had mixed fajitas on lunch special ($5.99) which was definitely a lunch portion it had maybe 4oz of meat and about 10oz of peppers and onions which is fair for that price, however the waitress rang it up as the dinner price when I asked her about it she said oh well I figured you would want the dinner portion. Umm no if I had of wanted that I wouldn’t have asked for the fajita special. Also my husband ordered chimichangas and received Chalupa’s when asked about it she assured that he actually ordered chimichangas when he has never in his life ordered Chalupa’s. If you want poor customer service here is your place.

Whenever we figured out there another Mexican restaurant was opening we were sad thinking it was just gonna be another normal Mexican restaurant but this one takes the cake this was the by far best Mexican restaurant in Washington North Carolina seated right away great atmosphere very clean great staff delicious food I recommend the chicken soup or a beef taco and I recommend to get the waitress named Kayla very nice and polite!
