I ate lunch at New South Kitchen & Bar on January 10th, and I was very impressed. This is a farm to table restaurant where most of everything on their menu is sourced locally. The menu is primarily southern comfort food. I tried the fried green tomatoes, and they were fantastic. For my meal, I had the cranberry & pecan chicken salad that I loved. I also had carrot soup, which is something that I have never tried. It was so tasty. New South Kitchen & Bar is a restaurant that I highly recommend.

It is a good choice for dinner. It is consistent and the staff is attentive. The food is enjoyable. The menu is incredible, you can hear yourself talk, and the portions are generous. I have tried to drop by for brunch on the weekend and it is always booked solid. Make a reservation. The biscuits are legendary.

This is a great upmarket spot for dinner or lunch. Cosy and comfortable decor in a convenient location. I had lunch with a group of friends. We were seated in a timely manner and our server was discreet but attentive to our needs. The fried cob salad with corn was delicious.

Wow. This is by far the best meal I’ve had since moving to the Carolinas. Everything was delicious and our server was perfect. The complimentary biscuits were amazing. We had the fried green tomatoes, halibut, pot roast, and an Old Fashioned. We loved it all. It’s also pretty cool that they source everything locally!! Definitely going back!

Such a great restaurant! The food is locally sourced and delicious! Everything was well seasoned, something that’s hard to find these days. We were there for Sunday brunch. Both the Crab Benedict and Bourbon French Toast were faultless. And if the Fried Blueberry Pie is on the menu, get it! Great waitstaff, lovely decor. A wonderful experience!
