Definitely can recommend this place. Lots of food for the price. Always get the shrimp with snow peas. One of my favorite.

Food is ok. Flavor is BLAN. BBQ Pork was not tasty. The sauce tasted diluted. We ordered 5 different dishes to go. I am looking for a new place for Chinese food WITH FLAVOR. I Cannot recommend bamboo.

Food is delicious. I had the Mongolian Three flavors lunch special and it was great. Service was good. The only negative I didn’t like was that they charge for hot sauce.

Thought I would change up my eatery routine and try some local Chinese. Google searched closest restaurants and Bamboo Garden popped up. Called my order in with ease. Was told it would be 20 minutes, ok no worries. I gave them 25 minutes. My experience went downhill upon arrival. The day was a hot one. I only say that because when I showed up, 25 minutes after ordering, the front door was propped open and the place was just as hot inside as out, no AC. There was no one at the counter… so I stood there for a few minutes. A gentlemen finally came out and asked for my phone number…. then he said, just a few more minutes. A few more minutes, then a few more minutes more…I finally gave up and sat down. I’m pretty positive I sat in this hot store for another 20 minutes minimum. Again, just hoping the food was worth the wait. Certainly not off to a good start Bamboo Garden. Got home, opened the containers and began to chow down. We ordered sweet and sour pork, Kung Pau chicken, won ton and egg drop soup. My total experience continued going south. There was no “Ka Pow” in the chicken. It was cooked well but lacked the flavor/spices you’d expect. The sweet and sour pork was a atrocious. The pork was tough, like chewing leather. The weird thing is the deep fry was light and crisp, but the pork was hard as a rock. We didn’t try to finish it. The egg drop soup missed the mark as well, no flavor. I’ve never eaten her before and maybe I caught them on an off day. But I spent $60 for a dinner I thought was going to be tasty. Everything but the chicken was tossed out. I will try and give other local eateries a shot to see what else is out there. I won’t be returning here.

Updated review: after a few years I decided to give this place I try again. I was really impressed by the portions and the flavor. I think the meat quality is better here than the other places in the area. And I’m happy to report that my stomach did not get upset. So it looks like I’ll be going back to this place more. Ill update this review of anything changes. Added two stars to my rating.

The food was just ok but it was very expensive. Dine in was terrible. Not worth the money. Will not be returning.

Food was delicious, service was very polite. When I sat down, I was immediately given a glass of water and a pot of tea, which was very good. I got the lunch special with egg flower soup (not shown), sweet and sour pork, rice, chow mein, and an egg roll for only $7.50! For me, it was a very generous serving. It didn’t make me sick afterwards like most Chinese food, and I love that the veggies in the sweet and sour pork were fresh and crispy, not overcooked and soggy. Overall great experience! I will definitely come back.
