My family took me out for Mother’s Day brunch. Food good. I had the Ole breakfast and my son had biscuits and gravy. Waitress ok, didn’t talk with us much at all.

Reservations were easy online. We weren’t able to make a reservation for 10 online but did two parties of five, and they gave us a table (already ready upon arrival) to accommodate! Our waitress was super friendly. The food was hot and fresh! I had ordered the Ole Breakfast. The jam for the toast was delicious. I’d be curious to know if they make it or buy it, because I want more!! 🙂 Eggs were cooked perfectly. All around a great breakfast with family. Thank you!

Everything I’ve ever had here has always been great. The service is always good too. I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner and has yet to disappoint.

The Ole Store Restaurant is part of Northfield’s fabric and core establishments, in my opinion. We are grateful that The Ole Store building has been renovated so beautifully and reopened now for years as a restaurant. Not far from the campus, it holds a place in the history of the town.

The staff was incredibly friendly and very nice. The food was a slight disappointment, as we were very excited to come to this restaurant. The hamburger came out overcooked from medium rare, but still edible and pretty good. However the fries were something to be desired. The potato salad was equally odd, being heavily seasoned with something that I cannot identify. It was not the kind of potato salad I was expecting. The best thing we had here was by far the wild rice soup, which was salty but still very good. Overall, nice staff and food that was less than great, but not the worst.

They have a parking lot as well as street parking. It’s a pretty decent sized place. Easily about 20 tables of varying sizes. I was seated right away and service was pretty quick. Not a ton of choices in the menu. I usually eat omelettes but they didn’t have any. So, I went with the 2 scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and wheat toast. They have their own in-house jelly which tasted like berry. Food was out pretty quick and tasted good too. Was offered hot sauce/ketchup and of course I chose hot sauce. Everything tasted good. Spent about $20 including the tip.

I’m immediately obsessed with this place. The popover AND the pork chops was like a religious experience. My wife loved her burger. Service was lovely. My only feedback is the restaurant is over an hour from my home.

So adorable! Went for 2 meals. Brunch and dinner. Brunch was absolutely amazing!! The chai brioche French toast with lingonberry was fabulous. Hash browns + eggs Benedict was stellar. I didn’t get a pic but the biscuits and gravy w/ swedish meatball gravy to die for.

Went on for Saturday brunch and was not disappointed! The kids especially loved the pancakes and Dutch Baby. My salmon scramble was perfect.
