We used to love Foon’s, especially their pan fried dumplings. But over the past twenty years the quality of their food has declined significantly. Our last 4 orders have been incredibly disappointing. Each time containing burnt dumplings. Tonight’s order draws the line. We ordered our usual 3 orders of dumplings and everyone of them was Burnt black, so bad that they stink. Please see picture.

Hells yeah! As a native east coaster who was stationed on the west coast for 6 years… it was fantastic to have proper east coast Chinese food again! (West coast doesn’t hit it right) Foon’s however didn’t disappoint as I tried tried half a dozen before hittin these guys up. Got the classics and they were just what I was lookin for… will be my new go to regular joint until I get stationed somewhere else

Yes Foon!! I’ve been disappointed trying to find the right Chinese food place but last night I was a happy girl. The shrimp fried rice tasted and looked good, sesame chicken was delicious and the won ton soup was delicate and tasty. I was happy throughout the entire experience and woke up happy knowing my money was well spent. Thank you.

Nothing in VA beach can beat them. I grew up on Chinese food & this is exactly like mom’s home cooking. The food is so fresh & yummy. Packed with meat & flavor. I will drive out of my way for their food. Worth the wait, they get busy. The whole family is so nice & really hard working. They have never disappointed us, they never have an “off chef” day where 1 day didn’t taste “like last time.” Seems to be better with every bite.

A great mom and pop shop. Made with care and not a cookie cutter take out Chinese takeout. My Sweet and Sour Chicken appeared to be hand breaded chicken.

The staff members were friendly. The food, was not very good. I ordered the cashew chicken and I could not eat it. The fried rice smells scorched (like cigarettes) and does not taste much better.
