I just door dash an order the door dasher was great. But I ordered chili cheese tots a pretzel and a corn dog the corn dog was ok the pretzel was half hard and my chilli cheese tots barely have any chilli on them. I tried calling twice but no answer both times.

At 3:30 we order a Route 44 diet limeade with extra limes and raspberry, a small Cherry limeade and a small order of cheddar pepper. Waited till 3:30. Went inside to find they had no idea what we ordered. Finally it was clarified. When our order came we received a Route 44 limeade with extra raspberry instead of extra limes. In fact neither of our limeade’s had limes. By that time it was 45 minutes between the time we actually ordered and when we received the items. Then of all things we got charged full price for our drinks even though our order was placed at 3:30. By that time we just told ourselves it wasn’t worth the time. Took our order and left. My husband said he will never go back. Every time we go to Sonic this kind of service is typical.

Got a chicken strip meal while on lunch break, and was very disappointed. I get an hour break for lunch, the food takes almost 40 minutes and I get home and I may be mistaken but I thought the dinner came with onion rings? And I got one single tiny little onion ring. I got food there a week ago. One of the items was cheeseburger with bacon. It came out with about 4 or 5 tablespoons of Greece. Needless to say, it was remade 3 times at no point did it get better. The manager she never checked it. The last time I went in the cook was rude as hell. Saying it’s a hamburger, it’ll have Greece. The Greece was very dark. All most looked like motor oil. Didn’t eat it. Will never go back that’s for sure.

I ordered two meals on the app to pick up on the way home tonight. Get there right when I said I would, hit the arrived button, food comes right out, delivered by a smiling young man. Awesome right?!? Drive the 3-4 miles home and as we unpack our bag of food wife notices her cheeseburger has no burger. We pack up the food and head back the 3-4 miles hoping to exchange for a new meal. NOPE! All she can offer is to remake the imaginary cheeseburger. I verify her response with her and then accept what little she can do. They promptly bring out another cheeseburger and we drive the 3-4 miles back home. Microwave our original order and eat nuked fast food. I would understand only replacing the imaginary cheeseburger at a sit down restaurant, but when the meal is take out, the whole meal should be remade so everyone is eating warm food. Am I wrong here? I ask her for the owners phone number, she tells me to look it up! Both Newton locations have gone down hill the last three years.

An all American Drive-In with car hops. 2 in Newton Kansas, on the main street that makes them the favorite Cruising turn around spots for people on the main drag. Food always good and consistant. Happy hours for drinks and appetizers at 50% of prices in afternoon and half price malts and shakes after 8pm during spring and summer months.

Used the drive thru, but the manager or whoever was in charge was openly berating her employee who made a simple mistake, to the point the employee said, “I feel so stupid.” This was all with the window open, in front of the customers (me and my family). No manager should ever treat their employees with such malice, especially in front of customers, nor behind closed doors. It was completely disrespectful to the employee, and my heart goes out to her. I hope she finds a job that will treat her with the respect she deserves.
