Ordered my first pizza from Marina’s tonight and I was very pleased. My standard pizza is Italian sausage and onion. I was happy with the amount of toppings and cheese – although I do prefer red onions as an option as opposed to a sweet onion.

Easily one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. There was so much cheese, not in a good way, it was so floppy we couldn’t even pick it up and it was overall disgusting. Definitely will not be ordering again.

Long time full menu pizza joint that’s been in this shopping plaza for 50+ years!! They use a special blend of cheese that’s like no other, great sauce, & old time pepperoni (that’s unique, a lot of others use a grade that tastes to much like sausage & bitter), and then it’s all cooked in an old style pizza oven. They’re pizzas can be oily/greasy (that’s because of better ingredients) that will make your heart Dr. have a coronary himself, I have a special way of removing this that I’ve been doing for 45 years, I like my pizza a little well done, where theres tan/brown spots on the cheese & the edge of pepperoni a little crisp. Today society has accepted under cooked pizza, if the cheese is white/light yellow, it’s under cooked. Theres 2 things I know in life, #1 is pizza!! Anyone who knows me will tell you, you can even ask Stephen or Frank, how often & how long I’ve been coming there. I travel all over for pizza, I got 2 places in Mexican town (yes really) I go all over for it!! I ate pizza every day for most of the last 40 yrs, but now I’m down to 4-5 times a week, and Marinas is my usual go too, they got good burgers as well. If you haven’t tried their pizza or burgers, your missing out !!

The delivery driver took the pizza out of the delivery bag and the pizza was literally dripping grease out of the box and he uses the excuse that it’s always like that and the chicken was awful felt like I was eating cartilage would definitely not recommend.

I’m glad this restaurant survived the pandemic. They have the BEST ravioli in metro Detroit. Ignore the negative reviews. This is a great restaurant with food better than most fancy Italian restaurants at half the price.

I’ve ordered there for years now never had a complaint with these guys they’ve always had decent prices on their subs. I faithfully ordered from them once or twice a week. I will never repeat never order anything again from them! The last time I bought a pizza sub from them I bit into the sub about the third bite In damn near broke a tooth and when I went to spit out what I thought was part of my tooth it looked like it had a piece of a pill or a sweetheart broken half inside the pizza sub when I called back to ask if they can reimburse for the food they told me absolutely not they would never reimburse me nor credit me the food! I will never give them my business again nor recommend it to anyone! I guess that’s what you get when you order food from shacktown!!!
