I really want to give them a better rating but based on what happened I can’t. My wife and I went with the all you can eat option for $35. The food was good and the side dishes were excellent. I can’t say anything bad about the food. The issue was when we had to pay the bill. We were charged a 20% gratuity by “accident”. Funny how we weren’t charged 15% or 18%.

Price has increased from 22.99$ to 32.99$ per person for meat BBQ. 20% tips are paid automatically at the end. Food is ok. We were charged 85$ for two people. Try to come in little early if you can, they only got one waitress in restaurant. waitress is too busy, she wouldn’t be able to serve or help much during rush hours.

RE-OPENING REVIEW: Their meat for the BBQ is fresh! A lot of places will opt for frozen meat and thaw it out especially for the thin brisket, but here they slice it fresh at the order. It will melts in your mouth. The quality of the meat exceeds the price of ayce. Well worth the $35. Their side dishes compliment the BBQ and rice dishes nicely. Definitely try their soybean soup b/c it was gooood. Service was great as well. They were very attentive to everyone in the restaurant and were very kind in helping us cook the gogi 🙂

If you enjoy Korean food try Kogii Kogii. If you love Korea barbecue you must go to Kogii Kogii in Deerfield, Illinois. I have been enjoying the food in this location for many years, even when it was the Pine Garden. We didn’t need to look through a menu, since their all you can eat Korean barbecue menu is posted right there on the wall above our table. There is a choice of five or six meats to choose. You start with two and then go from there. Ask for whole garlic to grill along with the meats. Lettuce leaves and side dish were preset for our reservation, so we had some food to enjoy right away. The food is very fresh and delicious. You do some of the grilling yourselves, but they assisted a lot and brought out more meat as we asked. With a few drinks, tax and tip included it ran about $100. Per couple. It is worth the price and we ate like no tomorrow.

After under new management the meat quality way much better. Of course, the interior is also very clean. Huge parking lot. Waitress was really kind. I will definitely visit again.

My family wanted to try this Korean BBQ place for the first time. Iron Age is our go to place but we thought we can try another AYCE Korean BBQ. Saw the mixed reviews about servers not being nice but that’s not unusual at a Korean restaurant so we gave it a try. First, food tasted good. Nothing stands out but it was good enough for the price. However, the server we had was not. We had beef brisket and pork belly first. Then we asked for marinated beef ribs. If you are familiar with Korean BBQ then you know grilling marinated beef will bring lots of smoke and charring on the grill pan. Apparently, our server was not happy with what was happening. Without saying one word she hastily came over and turned off the grill without asking and gave us the most nastiest stare like we had done something horribly wrong. Then we decided to call the other server to order our next portion of marinated beef. Other server replaced our grill with new one and we grilled our meat. And again, while our marinated beef was getting all cooked, it created smoke which went right upto the air vent. We right away turned the grill off and within seconds our original server came and tried to turn off the grill. Told her we already turned it off and she walked away without saying anything. It made our family feel so uncomfortable that we don’t really care for this restaurant anymore. One bad experience is enough. Food might be good but it’s not worth the money to feel put down on like we had done something terrible.

Wasn’t worth the drive or price. It’s 22.99 per person w/18% gratuity tacked on. They only have 6 meats on the menu and if you want extra rice or sides, there is an extra cost for them, even for extra lettuce. It’s a minimum 2 person rule, however they did allow me to dine by myself. I don’t want to say they are prejudice but they definitely have preferential treatment towards the Asian community from what I saw while eating. The sauces given with the KBBQ are either too salty or really really bland. I asked for soy sauce and got an attitude from the server then was made to put meat on the grill when I had a full plate of meat already cooked. By the time I cooked all the meat and was able to eat it all, 80% of it was cold. Overall, it’s only a 3/5 because the service wasn’t great, the seasoned meats didn’t taste like they had seasoning on them and there is only 6 meats and the auto gratuity is ridiculous.

Hate leaving bad reviews for small business so I kept finding good excuses for the waitress. It got to the point of no return within 15min.
