Wife & I went for lunch, to our surprise there was no indoor seating. We decided to tough it out under the misters and give this place a try. We both found it odd that a BBQ place did not have brisket on the menu. She tried the tri-tip, not a fan, I had some sort of burrito which was more of a Tex Mex than true BBQ. We would normally be more empathetic to a new establishment but this was disappointing on many levels.

This was very disappointing, not really a BBQ restaurant, more like a bar that served a pork sandwich and Mexican food. Had the pulled pork, tasteless in my opinion, baked beans are more like chilli. CRAZY expensive for a 1/4 pound sandwich and almost $40 for a rack of ribs, yikes!

The staff was very friendly and the setting/atmosphere is hard to beat. Great music playing in the background and just about any type of drink you want. Prices were typical of this style bbq, about $17 bucks a plate which includes one side. We had the tri tip and chicken sandwiches. The tri tip was decent but the chicken was dry and lacking flavor. The buns were really good but very small. The potatoe salad was good but the cowboy beans were cold. When compared to similar bbq establishments the portions were very small, definitely not worth the price in our book. Also, the giant cigarette ashtray buckets sitting on most of the tables made for a very unappetizing visual experience. Oddly enough, I do recommend trying Hansen’s out, maybe you’ll have a different experience or the things we noticed won’t bother you.

The ribs are great, flavorful, tender, and you can taste the smokiness from the smokers they cooked them on. The Tri-Tip sandwich is also great. Cowboy Beans were cooked perfectly. Staff is all very friendly. Definitely gonna be returning here!

Save your money, don’t go to Hansen’s BBQ. I asked about the ribs and they said they were delicious and the meat just falls off the bone. The ribs lacked meat, were over cooked and pathetic. On top of that they charge $3.00 per rib. The taco’s were way overpriced and extremely small. The only thing good were the beans. I’d be shocked they stay open through the summer.

Yikes! Never heard of a BBQ restaurant with no brisket, like not out but they don’t offer it, beans are actually chilli. Not a fan. Great place to have a beer, all outside seating, bring your own AC.

To order food you stand in the same line where people are getting beer. You pick your food up at a different building. There is no place to sit. There is a few places to sit all of Is which is outside. And the worst part is the small sandwich was $18. No fries, beans or coleslaw.

Went about 8pm and really empty on a Friday. Workers were not very inviting. No good bar b que menu at all. In the evening when I went it was more of a local bar hangout. It’s all outdoors so did not see indoor restaurant. If you want bar b que ribs for dinner this is not the spot.

It’s a small outdoor place. Music was good by Pat James. BBQ was good. Outdoor seating and standing. It is located in back of Frontier Town.
