Best eclectic mix of different cultural foods in one place! They sometimes say if a place has too much on the menu it can’t be that good. This was excellent!I especially liked the rellenitos and Yuca con Mojo. Will be back again soon!

Are you uncertain as to whether you have a taste for Mexican food, Cuban or Guatemalan food? Well this place had it all.

This was my first time trying there food so maybe it was that day but first, I call to put an order in and the girl who answered started to take my order and after I tell her the first item, she doesn’t even tell me to hold and starts talking and joking with someone , disregarding the fact that she’s taking my order and after about a minute just gets back on phone, doesn’t even apologize for the fact that she just stopped talking to me and resumed taking my order. For the food: we ordered the double steak sandwich and the pork double cuban sandwich. The steak sand was decent but kinda bland like it lacked salt and the cuban pork sandwich was decent except that the pork itself was very overly salted. I wanna go back another day just to try it again and give it another chance. Stay tuned!!!!!!

The young man who assisted me today explained that the menu had 2 sides: one side a more traditional American menu, the other side a latin mix menu. I chose this place because they advertise to have cuban food and café cubano. I’ve tried other places in Illinois claiming Cuban authentic foods but have been very disappointed. I am cuban and am a long ways from home. So, finding the right place is important 🙂 They do offer the traditional strong cuban coffee that I’ve been craving for months. The staff was eager to please and was helpful with explaining the different ways they make things. For instance, I wanted a guava filled pastry but instead they serve it as a warm empanada guava filled paste as pictured with the cafe. The steak, egg and cheese sandwich isn’t a skirt steak but instead diced mojo steak (philly style) with diced ham and onions. The bread is cuban style. This sandwich was great. Half the sandwich was filling. I took the other half to go. I also tried a chorizo n cheese mini burrito which isn’t small. 2 of those would be a decent satisfying snack for 1 person. I am definitely revisiting this place to try other food dishes. If you are looking for a super attentive staff to wait on you hand n foot, this is not it. It’s more of a place to just get comfortable asking for whatever you want as you need it. I’m ok with not being bothered but I know others might have different expectations.

Fantastic food and amazing service. Pick your time of arrival correctly and you won’t have to wait with everyone else trying to get a piece of this great diner.

I wouldn’t never order delivery from this restaurant is the worst food I ordered 3 chicken pinchos dinner and they sent burned hard like a rock dry pork pinchos, then they forgot to sent my dessert and I called them and they didn’t say sorry or some nothing just come to pick it up very unprofessional and they didn’t even want to refund me. The bad food is very expensive a little 6 oz cup of aroz with gandules $5.00?? Dry rice no flavor no meat at all. A quesito $4.00 when they cost 0.99 Really…? at all I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to nobody.
