They have completely redone this place and it is an improvement. You now order when you enter and they call out your order. I was super impressed because I had a hand made (not frozen store bought) black bean burger. It fell apart but was delicious! I had corn that was cooked perfectly too. My family had hot dogs, bang bang shrimp and steamers and all was good!

Had the Fried Clams, Clam Chowder, Burger, Onion Rings and Blueberry Pie for dessert. Burger was OK. Everything else was very good. You order at the counter, they’ll call your number when it’s ready and you pick it up. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat out on a picnic table on the dock. Beautiful view!!

Twin lobster dinner came with baked potato and a delicious corn on the cob. Cocktails were $11 and delish. Pistachio crusted salmon also very tasty and moist. Beautiful views right on BBH. Loved the service!!! The older woman who helped us at the counter was a delight, great bartender, and the teenage girls working there were kind and very patient with some pretty rude tourists 😉 would definitely come back here.

Since the last time we were here, a few things have changed. You now order at the front counter and get a number. Then you wait for your number to be read over the loud speaker. While there are no more waiters and waitresses, the food is still the same great food we’ve been getting there for years.

Ordered tacos, lobster roll and fresh broiled fish with baked potato. Fish came out completely blend – no flavor at all. It was broiled without any salt. When I tried to bring the fish back to one of the employees, staying that fish was completely blend and was missing salt, I was told that they purposely don’t season the fish while it is cooking and everyone salts it themselves after it is done… No comment… I don’t understand how this place has such a high rating if they don’t know how to cook fish…

We were looking for a place that had a good kids menu and prompt service. This place was all the above. Delicious food, I got the clam strip basket which the breading was very good. You also don’t have to wait for a waiter. You order and the call your number. It was clean and great view of the water.

Have been going to Kalers for years. Drive 90 minutes each way to go there. Go at least twice a season. The food, atmosphere and service has always been great! The long time owner is the nicest person you ever want to meet. If you like your seafood perfectly done and like the old style cornmeal batter instead of the thick chewy beer batter this is the place to go!! Absolutely love this place!!!
