I had the Chicken Fillet Sandwich, and my friend had the 2 piece value meal with coleslaw and potatoe salad. We both enjoyed our meals very much. This restaurant was very busy, but it operated like a well-oiled machine. The food came out fast and was hot and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food, friendly staff, dirty restaurant. The food is great, I cannot emphasize that enough. However, all the tables were dirty, and there was food all over the floor. Plenty of employees standing around, so the neglect must be a deliberate decision from management. To make it worse, in the restaurant a transient dug a rib bone out of the trash to feast on the meat that remained on the bone, then dug a used beverage cup out of the trash can, and proceeded to the beverage machine to fill it up, all while an employee watched. If I were only rating the food and friendliness of the staff this would be a 5 star review.

I, personally, think they have amazing breakfast burritos, fried chicken, enchiladas, and tacos. I was going to list even more of their dishes, let’s just say that I’ve never been disappointed. I enjoy the rustic atmosphere of the dining room which is always clean. Service is always polite, quick, and they have never gotten my order wrong. One of my favorite spots in Albuquerque!

Take-out Ribs/Chicken for an easy dinner, before flying home the next day. Food was excellent, and the prices were good. But, when you are shorted one large side, and two pieces of a 10-piece chicken order, it makes it very easy to not come back and support them. Yes, I am that stubborn when my I spend my money…

I came here to comment, and I see there are already 206 comments about the breakfast burritos… I used to love GP breakfast burritos, but for a while now instead of “hash browns” which is what the menu says, burritos are made with essentially mashed potatoes. Not the same… nothing hash or brown about the potatoes they are putting in the burritos. I’m looking for someplace new for burritos at this point.

The service here is always great and I regularly go here for burritos but lately it just hasn’t been the same. The potatoes are especially bad. I got three burritos today and the hash browns were so poorly cooked that they were more like mashed potatoes than anything else and there was more potato than any other ingredient.

The food was good. The service was good. And then I took my 8 year old to the bathroom. The restroom was not clean. Lice on the sink. Then, a man came in and started rummaging through the trash. Not really a big deal in Albuquerque, but even he started putting the trash on the table it was a mess.

We would get burritos a few times a week and have been for years. The last year or so the quality has diminished, loaded with sad potatoes, very little egg and almost no sausage. Today I had the #11 and I opened it up and had less than a single egg and 37 small pieces of sausage… yes, I counted them. Almost $6 for this, I will pay money more somewhere else to have a quality meal.
