From the phone call to make the reservation, to leaving after our meal, the entire experience was phenomenal! Our server was such a blessing. She was kind and patient. Even when we were there after 9pm (when they close) she was gracious and never rushed us! She even made sure we got dessert! The food was heavenly. One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. I am so grateful we found this gem here in Bismarck.

An incredible dining experience. Everything was prepared with exceptional attention to detail. All courses were delicious and the presentation was flawless. The staff were so professional and friendly. I will undoubtedly return here and would highly recommend it. A true gem in Bismarck. (Pics: walleye w/barley pilaf, beet salad, and pavlova.)

Great place! The food was top notch, the service was great, and the atmosphere was ideal. There was a group of 10 of us and they were very accommodating with that large of a group. Will definitely eat here again when I am in Bismarck.

We got the 2 of the 4 weekly specials this week, the walleye cakes and the Hawaiian kanpachi, and both were 10/10 amazing. We’ve eaten here plenty of times and tried things we wouldn’t normally order because everything on the menu is definitely well thought out, and would taste good no matter what! We also got the scallops which are always great! The weekly specials are what keep us coming back. The service has been great as well every time we’ve gone. This almost sounds like a fake review but truly, pirogue is amazing and honestly very affordable for the high quality that you get. We will keep coming back for sure!

Quite bad. When you’re paying about at least $50+ per person without any drinks, the expectations are naturally higher. We went for the Spring 3 Course Menu and it was still pricey, but a reasonable enough rate to venture trying. Imagine our disappointment when none of the 6 combined food items we had truly stood out in any good way.
