My family and I decided to wait until the dust settled to try this place and we’re glad we did. We made a reservation for four on Saturday night and didn’t wait a minute. The place is nicely decorated and impressed us all. We were greeted by the waiter quickly who was polite and informative about the menu. We ordered our food which took a reasonable amount of time and was served with nice portions. I ordered the Pad Thai mild and thought the flavor was great. Others ordered the Red Curry which was spicy but good. Everyone was happy with their meals. The prices are a bit high ($2-3 higher per plate than I’m used to) and not a place I could see myself going to as often if the prices were slightly lower, but not too unreasonable either. I would recommended it to others.

My family of five went for my birthday. I ordered the seafood Pad Thai and it was way too sweet. The shrimp were big, but they tasted like cardboards. Our other orders were not at all impressive. The atmosphere including the pianist was nice! I love Thai food, but this was disappointing!

We stopped in on our way from Orlando to Tampa. It was so nice to dine in a Thai restaurant with the traditional music playing. The Wonton soup was the best we have ever tasted. The red curry was excellent. Our meal came with brown rice. I liked it but my husband would have preferred the white. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely eat there again.

First time at Zab Thai. I agree the dinners are a bit overpriced but they are in line with other Thai restaurants I have been to in the Orlando area. The portions were huge and we did bring home leftovers.

The food was delicious and the service was fast! My wife and I had the Tom Kha chicken soup and the three taste fish and thought they were both superb. I would recommend this restaurant to first time Thai eaters and experienced veterans. The menu has a great variety of tasty looking dishes that we will definitely be coming back to try!

Food was beautifully prepared and served. I had the spicy fish and loved it. There are choices to fit your spicy or not spicy taste. Menu is large. We were totally pleased with the service, decor and food.

Went to dinner around 4:30pm so there would be no excuse for a wait, but ended up waiting 30 minutes for our entrees even though we were the only ones in the restaurant! The food ended up being decent, but not the best Thai food that I have had. I got the Seafood Pad Thai and the shrimp were huge, the portion was large, but the flavor was bland. Also got the fresh rolls and the Tom Kha, both not as good as what you can get for half the price in Chinatown off 50. The food is overpriced as well, the demographic of people that live in Clermont and the surrounding areas WILL NOT pay for overpriced Thai food. This restaurant would do better in downtown Orlando or Winter Park. However, the atmosphere in this restaurant is excellent and there is much to admire inside. I just wish they would lower their prices and speed up their rate of service.

The service is the worst I have ever experienced. there were 6 of us there on a slow Sunday at 5:45. The server ignored us the entire time we were there. I had to call out to her to even get a drink with the bar within 10 feet of us. The appetizers and drinks came at 6:20. Food for 3 of us came at 6:45. At 7 pm the 3 remaining folks were finally served.

Our first experience was a complete disaster – the stir fry was COLD (not even tepid) and swimming in a watery sauce. My Granddaughter likes Thai food and requested we go there for her birthday dinner on Sunday (Dec 28). Much better, food was good and HOT – service was very attentive. We will return.
