After turning into a franchise, the place isn’t the same anymore like it used to be where it was in the Wheaton Plaza old food court on the bottom level. Their portions are smaller now, their extra sauce on the side is a bit more salty than sweet compared to before, and now you have to pay extra for fried rice or noodles and I believe it used to be free. I usually get fried rice when it was free; now I have to op for white rice for the first time in a long time.

Food was decent and staff was nice however you have to pay for the Yum Yum sauce, it’s not even offered with your meal….who eats hibachi without yum yum sauce? They offered soy and I think a spicy sauce which I gave back because I didn’t want it. Yum Yum sauce was $.53 extra, per sauce. I only tried this place because Kobe Japan was closed today, which offers the sauce with your meal as well as everywhere else that I’ve visited for hibachi. You know when you’re expecting something and the location doesn’t execute/deliver? That is how I’m feeling, so all that to say I won’t be returning.

Horrible food! The noodles tasted like rubber. The fried rice wasn’t even fried rice it was white rice and it tasted a couple of days old. I asked for yum yum sauce and paid for it but I guess they forgot it. The chicken was all burnt so disappointed!

Very disappointed in this place but I see why it’s always empty. Worse customer service. They give you old meat that’s dry, burnt & has been sitting around. Wasabi is always spoiled smelling & tasting. Nothing is fresh here! They barely give you meat also! Because of this place I no longer ever want Sarku anywhere! Very gross!
