BBQ restaurant in downtown Roanoke. Good food and service. They make their own mac n cheese (yum!). The gator bites and fried green tomatoes were also really good! They have indoor and outdoor seating (love the patio!). Nice bar as well. My only complaint is that the prices are a bit high in my opinion.

The building, bar, & staff are nice. The food however is not very good. The pulled chicken was bland- with no seasoning at all. The mac n cheese was from a box. We did love the brisket, collard greens & garlic fries. The meat portions are small for the price. We were very disappointed the short rib was not on the bone, it was very dry, & not flavorful. Mission BBQ is better for bbq food. The bar here is really cool & they have a huge variety of bourbon.

Everything was spot on, food fantastic, atmosphere amazing, drinks delightful and service by Zaniah, was stupendous. I’m still sitting here taking it all in and tempted to know if dessert is going to be as impressive as the ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and this Hurricane (sheesh)…the cobbler DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

Recently had an event that was a success and I would say the quality of service greatly contributed to that. They were very friendly and personable, made sure things were kept clean, and that our guests were well attended to. Katherine was very helpful with working with us on menu options and making sure the room was set up to facilitate our needs. Very pleased.

I stopped by 9-15 after the taco fest last weekend and seeing how well this place did with tacos I figured I’d try some bbq. I didn’t catch my servers name but he did a great job! Nice selection of allocated bourbons and the brisket was super tender. The north and South Carolina sauces were very good compliments to the meat. The pork was some of the best pulled pork I’ve had, and the cobbler was a great finish to a 5 ⭐️ lunch. I will come back and encourage others to check them out!

First time here. We had an early dinner here around 5:30, so it was not crowded. There’s a downstairs bar and dining area and an upstairs dining room. No one was downstairs when we came in but when we left several people were at the bar. Sam was our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Very good service. The food was very good some of the most tender brisket I’ve eaten. Everything was seasoned well and flavorful. The Pulled Pork was very good as well. Warning the Spicy Collards are that spicy. I don’t like spicy food but my wife tried them to spicy for her. I tried a bite and felt the heat going down my throat. This restaurant is definitely a do over. Only negative is parking downtown.

This is a must if you are in roanoke! Crescent City hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome reception. The manager and staff were friendly and so easy to work with. The food was delicious! Our guests went back for 3-4 plates. The patio was the perfect area to host all of our guests. The drinks were good. Can’t say enough good things about Crescent City!!!!

Baked beans and the Mac and cheese were done well. The brisket was done pretty good, but could have been better. The atmosphere and service was good.

Good food, good drinks, good vibes. The pulled pork and pulled chicken were excellent, you can pick your sauce but it doesn’t need it. Bread pudding was good, not great.
