The food here is excellent. The German Red Cabbage had a nice sweetness to it. The pan fried potatoes were delicious and the sausages were cooked just right. Each of the three types had a unique flavor.

Overall I am very impressed. Good German food qualify prices. I almost call this Texas German fusion cooking. I ordered the currywurst, very good and I liked it but not in love with it. The red cabbage though stole the show. Best I have ever had, semi sweet and just amazing. The strudel was good but my style. Overall I am impressed and will be back. Good food, good service and very reasonable prices. What is not to love?

Wow, stellar and unique restaurant. The lunch special is an incredible value. We had the German pulled pork w/ spicy slaw and Schruben lunch specials. Bring an empty stomach you are going to need it. Have been to a few German restaurants around Houston and generally left disappointed, this alternatively was a real treat.

I don’t eat here often enough but I should. The food is always spot on and delicious, what goes good with that is their ice cold beer. If you haven’t tried this hidden gem you better give it a shot. By the way I love sauerkraut and they have the very best!

Found this eatery on Google and decided to give it a try. That was a great decision as the food was great! I got the classic fine pork brat and it came with a horseradish mustard, sauerkraut, and fries. The horseradish mustard was amazing and I asked for more so I could dip my fries in it. The brat itself wasn’t amazing but tasted good all the same. I would give it a 9 out of 10. The other plate was for my wife, Jaeger Schnitzel and she loved it. It was topped with a mushroom gravy and fries for the side. She tested it at 10 out of 10. The beignets were ok, tasted like refrigerated dough. Not worth getting again.

Quaint place. Small but full of German life. I got lucky because they had a band passing. Small mom and pop group. Very good. The food was great and I will return!! They also have a food truck that hits the breweries. Nothing better than beer and German food. They have seating inside and out. It took all that I had to eat my fried German bologna sandwich. So good. I Berlusconi you will enjoy a well.

Awesome german food. Love the pretzels, Jager schnitzel, cheeseburgers, and brats. Anytime we’re in the area, we’re there. Amazing customer service. They have seafood too, which one day I want to order but I’m always there for the Jager schnitzel and cabbage. Would recommend to anyone wanting awesome german food.

We had the pleasure of having a Medium well bacon mushroom burger and fries from their food truck at the SPJST Trivia night in Needville. The burger was very big, juicy and the fries were great. The whole meal was fantastic! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Excellent food. German themed offerings but the hamburgers are 8oz and are the juiciest and best I’ve ever had. Their Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel is a fabulous dessert. It’s a little hard to get to due to road construction on Crabb River and no street signage yet but it’s worth the hunt! Owner is a great guy and aims to please.
