I used to love Pizza Guys. I mean, the pizza is pretty standard, but my kids really REALLY like it. So that’s where we would order from. But the customer service and quality of the food has really decreased over the past couple of years. I’m assuming a chunk of it is pandemic related, not enough staff, folks are burned out. And that I get and have patience for. I get it. I’m in the same boat.

I placed an online order before 6 PM. At 6:30 I was surprised to see on the status that they were still “making” it. And the delivery time was 8 PM! But it got worse. At 7 PM, they called me to tell me that everything I ordered was out of stock. I am so hungry and now I have to start over with someone else. You have no way of knowing what their delivery time will be before you place your order and you may still not get your food. Consider yourself warned.

We’ve been ordering pizza guys for years as sort of our mainstay delivery pizza. It’s a bummer to write this, but I can’t recommend anyone order from here anymore (at least from the one in pdx). Twice in a row we’ve been no-showed. I can’t tell if it’s because the app is broken, or they simply don’t have the staff to operate. But they should at least disable online ordering until they get this figured out.

This is my go-to local delivery place. Reliable and fast. Easy to place an order online to pick up, and they offer their own delivery so you don’t have to deal with food app fees. The website isn’t optimized for mobile. Use the computer to order. Their gluten-free crust is only offered in a medium size, but it’s one of the tastiest delivery GF crusts around. Love the Tuscan garlic chicken and crisp and cup pepperoni. I’ve been ordering from the 122nd location for 4 years and haven’t had any screws ups on my orders. My only issue with this place is that the prices have gone up dramatically. When we lost the parmesean and red pepper packets, I knew it was the end of an era.
