We’ve been searching for a good Sichuan restaurant in the area and this one is SO GOOD! You have to get the Dan Dan Noodles, Chong Qing Chicken (make sure to get the side of white rice, it helps with the spicy overload) and Pork Dumplings in chili oil. So so so good. A must try!! Service was also very good!

Mediocre food with small amount. They use tomato sauce for 酸汤肥牛 and tastes sweet, not authentic Szechuan style. Also they add 3% extra service charge for credit card use unless you pay cash. Server was polite and helpful. I do not recommend this place.

Even though the food is very traditional and good, their prices are a joke! I had one dish and a large bowl of rice with water and with the tip, I spent $27! All the prices in the menu are hand written over their old price…for $27, it was not worth it and they will never see my money again. Again good food but their prices are ridiculous. Go to Gourmet house on Hope street, the food is as good, the service is excellent and you walk out with still money in my pocket. Quite disappointed as you can see.

I remember the classic Little Chopsticks that used to reside here back in the ’80s, and this current spot couldn’t possibly be more different. This is relentlessly authentic Szechuan cuisine, but don’t be intimidated by the menu if you’re only familiar with Americanized Chinese food. The staff is helpful and can offer advice if you’re stuck. As others have said, the wontons in red sesame oil are incredible, as is just about everything I’ve had there, although I thought the spicy glass noodles with pork were too “saucy”. This is definitely a place for spice lovers and anyone looking to explore. Atmosphere is minimal and decor is dated, but you should be here for the food.

Family style meal with a group of six (that comfortably fit in one giant booth). Everything was delicious, I barely remember half of what we ordered because it was so sensorily pleasureable I was drunk on the food before I even took a bite. Even a seemingly plain dish like boo Choy and mushrooms was prepared and plated with the quality of fine dining. Best food I’ve had in ages. Definitely going to be a date spot.

Food is okay but their service is subpar. Came in by myself for lunch. The bill was 23 dollars and I was going to use my card. Owner said she doesn’t want to bother processing credit card for a such small amount and asked if I had cash. I told her I only have 10 dollars cash. Without asking she took the 10 dollar bill from me and said that’ll go into tip. Well that’s fine and after I paid with both credit card and cash she returned to me and said oh I forgot to put your tea into the bill it should be a few more bucks…

Food was okay, nothing special. I got their Spicy Hunan beef off the lunch menu ($11 w/ tax). Small portion of beef and the food didn’t have a crazy amount of taste – generic Asian takeout vibe.

We found this hidden gem just googling chinese restaurants in rhode island. We had never been there before, but decided to try it. It was the best decision of our lives. It’s a family run restaurant and they know how to cook. We ended up there on the Chinese New Year without realizing, so they were really busy, but the food did not disappoint. Everything is fresh and they bring one dish at a time, and give you plenty of time to enjoy it, before bringing more. I could really see why the rest of the patrons had decided to come in large parties to celebrate their New Year there.
