I have stopped at this restaurant numerous times for take out & it never disappoints. My go to is the chicken taco platter. It’s very simple – chicken topped with cilantro & onions. It comes with a side of yellow rice, black beans, sautéed scallion, salad & jalapeño. Also comes with red & green sauces on the side.

Food was good, but the heavy set lady at the register was very nasty to me. She overcharged me and she told me that if I eat in the restaurant I have to tip them. This is a very bad business practice ask for a tip. Just be aware that this lady overcharge customers.

I’m in the hospital so had Uber eats deliver my food. She was late but it was due to the restaurant. El jalapeños rip me off. I spent $45 and didn’t receive what I order. I got someone else’s food and much less food too. I got a nasty torts , 3 corn tortillas, and half eaten avocado. I couldn’t believe it. Why? My order was 3 carne asada tacos, individual rice, individual beans, 3 flour, refried beans, tortillas, chips, avocado, chocolate cake. I’m so disappointed especially cause I can’t even go and argue for the correct order since I’m in the hospital. I will be there as soon as I get discharged!

Fantastic local taco spot! We are consistently ordering takeout, we love the carne asada tacos, marinated pork tacos, birria tacos, steak and egg, chips and guacamole. All are delicious! Highly recommend!

Must try Mexican food. It’s a simple place with a casual staff, but it’s authentic and the food is amazing. Some of the dishes come with a hot pepper (hence the name of the place) and it’s actually spicy. I love the hot stuff. Free chips and homemade salsa too.
