Service was great!!! Food was ok. Had the Trio Fajitas (steak, chicken, shrimp and veg) and wasn’t bad. Drinks were crazy expensive. Check the menu before you order a cocktail. I didn’t do that and margaritas were $16.50 EACH! Hubby and i had 2 each. $66.00. I could have ordered multiple pitchers for that price other places. Buyer beware.

This place absolutely amazed me. I honestly didn’t have high hopes when we walked over there. When we walked in we were greeted by Mia, an absolute sweetheart. She answered every questioned I had for her without skipping a beat. My husband and I started off with the mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers (for the record, they are made with cream cheese and not cheddar). The marinara sauce was warm (which I prefer) and had a wonderful flavor. The stretch on the cheese was crazy! (Pic below). My husband ordered the “Big Foot” chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and I had the Chicken Bacon Ciabatta with streak fries. He said hands down it was the best chicken fried steak he’s had in years! The mashed potatoes were definitely hand made (chunky) and the perfect amount of garlic. He chose to have the white gravy over both and he said the flavor was excellent. As far as my order, they used a whole chicken breast (flattened), two giant strips of Applewood smoked bacon (cooked perfectly), and Swiss cheese (it also comes with Tomato and onion but I don’t like them so I ordered it without). The sandwich was mouthwateringly delicious! All the flavors came together like a melody. The steak fries were perfect! They were seasoned well and they were cooked perfectly. Soft in the middle, just enough of a shell but not a lot of crunch. Even the smaller fries weren’t crunchy. Then we ended the night with a piece of strawberry cheesecake for him and a piece of dark chocolate cake for me. He said the cheesecake was very flavorful and the texture was great. The dark chocolate cake was like angels singing. The cake was moist, chocolate mousse center was fluffy and the dark chocolate icing was melt in your mouth instantly. It reminds me a lot of Dove Dark Chocolate. It’s very creamy and feels like you’re giving your tongue a nice warm hug when you bite into it. The whole time we were there Mia was very tentative, she never let our drinks go dry. We ended up not only tipping her but we tipped the chef as well and he came out and shook our hands. It was nice to be able to thank him in person. We 100% recommend this place and will come back if we are ever in the area again (hubby is a trucker).

Quesabrillas are to die for!!! Melt in your mouth sensation, 10/10 recommend! Sweet Tea was perfect! Birria de Chivo was good, extremely tender. Take the waitress’s warning about the hot sauce if you can’t handle heat! Will definitely be back to get more Quesabrillas!

When into the restaurant and we used to eat there years ago when it was the original king city restaurant. Now it’s mostly Mexican food that was very good. And the service was good and friendly. The waitress was also very helpful.

Been by here lots of times but never stopped. Wish I had before! Just had scrambled eggs, tortillas, bacon and refried beans but scanned over their menu and it all looks good. Will be stopping again to try more of the menu!

Had to stop here for dinner, nothing wrong with the food, ordered a T-Bone steak : taste was great, cooked well done, salad was fresh, water was cold and i had a good laugh with the waitress, just a nice and calm truck-stop where u’ll get the better food. Its bar is in the back part of the building, where u can get a beer or another alcoholic beverage of choice. Simple but Good I would come back for sure
