The atmosphere was great and vibrant but felt like inside was a bit tight with the amount of tables they tried to fit into the indoor space. The outdoor space isn’t bad at all. For where it’s located, parking is a bit rough if you are trying to go later in the afternoon but their is a parking garage a little bit down the street. Presentation wise the food looked absolutely amazing but my expectations after eating it, was nothing special. Food was good but I feel like the colorful drinks are what set this spot apart. It’s all about presentation and flair, this place has it. Service wasn’t the best because I feel like my server was overwhelmed with the amount of tables he had. I would definitely recommend hitting this spot up and at least trying it once.

One of my girlfriends and I got together for dinner and a drink. When I arrived I found parking on the street. I walked in and found my friend. The restaurant is super cute. We were served by Johnathan, and he was good. They had taco Tuesday with half off tacos and $8 frozen margaritas.

It’s a great restaurant! Good food and drinks. The quality is top notch. Only criticism is the waitress and waiter service was very slow. We had to remind them three times just to get water. We ran out and wanted more but it took so long to get any of there attention we finished our meal and was done. I would order everything all at once next time including maybe even two glasses of water just to make sure I don’t have to wait. I would definitely recommend and go back.

Tex mex restaurants are popping up everywhere in North and Central NJ. I must say to visit multiple concepts with their individual decor is amazing ! La Chula is a really modern tex Mex environment. The decor is fantastic down to the furniture . The outside patio in the back is adorable as well! I had the shrimp Tacos ot was beautifully decorated. I had a mango margarita.. I’m not sure which tequila was used but I did not favor it. Very pretty drink though. The green sugar dyed my fingers… the service was decent and in a timely fashion. I would visit again. Prices are high. 3 tacos was $18 but I was satisfied off of 2 tacos… so pricing could be warranted lol. Parking eh you will have to find a meter. Overall good experience.

I really loved the environment. The music, the decor, was awesome. The food was amazing. Definitely order the corn! It was the best of the best! And I loved the presentation of each dish. It’s a small place, but everyone was very friendly. I will definitely return!

Outstanding! A hole on the wall filled with great ambiance and strong personality. Yet, very welcoming and not intimidating. My son didn’t like it but it’s a yes for me. I’ll be back withoyt my son. The drink “La Jefa”: The female boss was a real drink, if you know what I mean! The food was so weird and original in a good way. We had “Flautas de pollo” and “Nachos La Chula” with beef. Suggestion: the lemonade was too sour.

This place is absolutely perfect. Mainly, it’s for couples and dates, however, anyone can attend. There is a bar outside and one inside where you can see your drinks being made. Customer service is great – from being at the door to paying the bill. The plating does not take away from the flavors in any way. Definitely recommend, 10/10.

Our first visit!! Service was amazing! We had the good fortune of having Carlos. The entire staff with sparklers sang Happy birthday to me. Food was so yum! Mgr was Ty ( forgive me not exact) sweetheart and deserved to hear the entire staff was AMAZING! KUDOS to the hard working staff working in this heat & putting out delicious food! We don’t live in the area but recommend everyone that does visit this establishment.
