I’m so disappointed. Took my daughter and wanted her to taste the teriyaki chicken bowl and see how it compared to Flame Broiler. There is too much fat on the chicken, I suppose, to give it more flavor when it grills. There is too much cabbage and not enough broccoli even when you ask for extra. Brown rice is good. Even ordered a beef bowl, and it’s basically Arby’s roast beef with the fat, almost like eating bacon, but instead of eating the bacon fat, you end up pulling it out of your mouth trying to eat only the meat. We used a bowl lid to accumulate the fat. She did like the spring rolls, but they’re basically like Panda Express mediocre egg rolls. I suppose the upcharged protein is the way to go, but we will not be back.

UPDATE – I have become a regular here. Most importantly of course, the food is very tasty, always seems fresh, and it’s pretty healthy overall (the company says they don’t use MSG). The service is consistently great, and very fast. Very happy I live close!

Well it was a Yoshinoya. Can’t really mess things up to much, however it seems they only got 90% of my order correct. I should have gotten a clue since while I was preparing to make my order, the person who got their food before me was bringing it back to get something corrected. It wasn’t a huge deal I ordered a chicken and beef No Veggie no onion. (This was a large order about 8 meals, family vacation, so I’m not mad). I ended up with a chicken and beef with veggies onions. I still love this chain. Again I don’t blame them it was a large order so mistakes can be made but I wanted to be fair and report it. I would still recommend this location the food quality itself was good.

I’ve had issues with yoshinoya in Santa Ana the one on harbor and the one on Broadway, serving me burnt chicken, when they do serve un-burnt chicken it’s good food, unfortunately lately it’s been like 60% of the time the chicken is thoroughly burnt and crunchy not in a good way neither.

This is the best yoshinoya I’ve ever been to. Actually, it’s the first one and I had the most amazing customer service and such a great experience with Juan and the other guy that was working that I can’t remember his name but they were both closing and they were so helpful and didn’t rush me or make me feel dad about the fact that they were closing soon (since I didn’t know because it was my first time and I totally had lost track of time regardless lol) and I felt extremely welcomed and the food was great and he even threw in some extra spring rolls which was an awesome bonus. I will recommend this place to anyone!!!

Food menu changed. Staff was good good was ok… But the behavior of homeless people in the parking lot sidewalk and bathroom inside the restaurant made for a very unsafe feeling.
