The place looks nice and all but man the food no so much. No seasoning on the carne asada the carne al pastor, the meat was so hard it was so nasty. and for it to have the name Sonora it’s ashamed because in Sonora they have the most bomb tacos ever. If you are gonna sell food for that much and charge extra when you use your card, atleast have some great food no mediocre food. I rather go to the taqueros on the street then a kinda place like this. What ashamed I was excited to see this place and try for the first time but I will never ever come back.

We have been to Sonora Taco Shop twice now, and we have found the food to be flavorful, reasonably priced, and served by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The quesadilla with pastor, bean and cheese burrito, carne asada fries, and carne asada burrito that we have had were some of the best we have had! The tortillas are exceptional! We also love the bar with cabbage, cucumbers, pickled onions, 4 -5 salsas, and other toppings. We will keep coming back!

I live near this place and decided to try it out when they first open, but I was disappointed when I tried the Carne Asada burrito. Burrito was almost $11 and the portion size was too small and not worth the price. So I will not be returning not work it
