Absolutely A+. I had the crispy chicken salad with chipolte ranch, and it was amazing. Quality fresh ingredients, and wonderful service. My husband had the chicken parm sub and sweet potato fries, and proclaimed both excellent. That’s saying something, as he is particular about both. Very extensive menu of very impressive choices. Great stop on our travels, well worth going off the beaten path a tad.

My patty melt was delicious and large. The fries were good. The menu is large and everyone should find something they want to eat. I love the section names on the menu, like hand over that sandwich and eggceptional burritos. The service is unmatched and I don’t know if it was the owner or manager but he came over to make sure our food was good and I felt like he really cared about the quality of the food and the comfort of his customers. I also loved the chalk map around the ceiling in the dining room. It was really cool to see points of interest in the area and local places.

Rose L. was right from her comments a year ago. My parents wanted to come here like they used to pre-COVID, but shifted to take out because it was more convenient for them. This was their diner and they loved the owner and the staff. When they walked through the door this time around, they received a nice welcome, but a little over the top. Their reaction was almost like PTSD, shrinking and stepping backwards. They wanted to sit in a booth and the place was not very busy. The hostess whose voice was rattling in their ears was not listening and sat them in the corner near the bathroom. No one was on the other side, but my parents didn’t want to make a fuss.

Was here about 3 weeks ago. Nice homey diner with friendly people. I got the breakfast wrap, it was ok. Mostly egg, I would definitely cut back on that just a little. The food was good and filling, neither of us could finish our plates

My wife and I were in the area and needed an early supper. With excellent reviews and being nearby, we thought a diner would fit the bill just fine. Well, the waitstaff were friendly and efficient, but the food was simply awful. I thought I was being safe by ordering a patty melt with fries but my wife was a bit more daring and got the moussaka. We are both far from food snobs, and I’ve never had an awful meal at a diner, until yesterday. The patty melt was unbelievably greasy, but not in a good way. The grease tasted rancid and barn-yardy, which was the only actual flavor in my meal. The moussaka was just gross (shame on my wife for ordering something that probably isn’t very popular to begin with). More shame on us, we ate most of it all anyway, because we were starving. We had just come from a funeral, so we weren’t focused on our ‘dining experience”, and expressing any dissatisfaction with the food was not a priority for us in the moment. But, on our way home, then in bed last night, and all this morning, the experience kept haunting me and not just in my mind. The real topper was the bill. With tip, we paid about $45!!!!! This is not a fancy diner, or hipster, farm-to-table, kinda place. Just a classic American simple diner with the worst food I may have ever eaten in any restaurant. And, priced way too high even if it was decent diner food. Just disgusting.
