Since the sunny, colorful, carefree days of the early 1970s, eegees has been serving handcrafted sub sandwiches and its now-famous frozen fruit drink, the eegee, in Southern Arizona. In September 1971, the founders pooled their resources to purchase a vending truck and began serving a frozen lemon drink at high schools, sporting events, and concerts in town. The drink was called an eegee. Eventually, the vending trucks were retired as they turned their business into a growing quick-service restaurant chain.
Today, there are 25+ eegees locations in the greater Tucson area, as well as one in neighboring town Casa Grande. The restaurant has also grown its menu and now offers salads, french fries, and signature ranch dressings.
Casual chain serving frozen fruit drinks along with submarine sandwiches, fries & salads. Based on 517 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $

Always a fan!! I love this location during the week for lunch. As busy as it gets, it never feels that way. I’m greeted with a smile, Suzy and her team are amazing. Always clean ice in the machine. You’d be surprised how this is such an issue. Never skimp on the ranch! even though I only ever eat one. They always hook it up. Never second guess going to this location thanks eegees!

If I could give 0 stars I would have. The ranch fries had zero ranch and they forgot my extra ranch. On top of that they were so disgusting and crunchy that they were inedible. God knows how long they had been sitting there. Secondly my Turkey provolone sandwich was absolutely disgusting the lettuce was slimy and they had clearly just made a sandwich prior that was a grinder because the only bite I took was spiced and had pepperoncini flavoring on it. I can’t eat that stuff due to stomach issues hence why I don’t order it. Lastly, I used to love your chocolate chunk cookies. The cookie I got today was absolutely disgusting and tasted burnt to hell and back and it was thin and just horrid. Idk if this has to do yet again with the kids taking over the business but I know for a fact the people who started eegees are rolling over in their graves right now at the shift in customer service, quality, and overall presentation and this new horrible reputation eegees now has. As someone who grew up in Tucson it really makes me sad but I won’t be coming back after this experience. And I want corporate to reach out to me for a full refund if I don’t hear back I will call myself on Monday. 0/10. If you used to love eegees this is no longer eegees.

Usually have good luck with this location since it’s newer but wow these fries I just picked up look like they’ve been sitting in the dumpster overnight. Take some kind of pride in your job even if it is just fast food.

Service so hit or miss. Frequently get eegees flavor wrong; this was one of my three tenders in my 3-pack

Food is constantly slow to get out even in the drive through, I’ve waited upwards of 10 minutes before. It’s good food but you’re just stuck waiting way too long for it.

Each time I ordered online, the food was almost never ready by pickup time. Even if I place it 10-15 minutes early, it’s still not ready, but they do happily comply with requests (like extra mayo.) Though, ever since the corporate shift, they’ve been short changing everyone on the ranch by filling it halfway. Eegees hasn’t been the same in years, and even the drink changed too. I’ll still come in by the force of nostalgia, and be disappointed again.

I loved that this location had a drive-thru, especially because I always travel with my service dog, and bringing her inside is not always convenient. My order was correct and the service was fast and respectful. This location will now be my go-to in Tucson.

Probably my best Eegee’s experience yet. I ordered ahead and I didn’t have to wait much for the food after I arrived. Other Eegee’s locations I’ve been to would always wait to start making the food until you arrived, which basically defeats the purpose of ordering in advance. Also, customer service was good and the food came out tasting delicious.

It just can’t be eegees they are super awesome. I love their eegees slushies. The Pina Colada flavor just can’t be beat this thing is so thick you have to eat it with a spoon. It’s far beyond gas station slushies (so called slushies). And you can get a really gigantic size for about 6 bucks. It’s got chunks of fruit in it ice fruit juice. You just have to go experience it for yourself!
