This might be my new favorite place to eat in Aiken. Our table had three different Build Your Boil meals – shrimp, crawfish, and sausage. Everything was impeccable (the house special medium was our favorite) . The service was outstanding. They were short-staffed, but we never would’ve guessed it. The staff was so friendly, and helpful. Our order was taken quickly and our food was delivered in a very reasonable amount of time – faster than I expected.

Okayyyy, review time in Today we frequented @Soul and seafood Southern style on Richland Ave. Suite 104 in South Carolina. We got there at noon and they were just opening. Renee was our waitress and she was wonderful. She said she only leaves tables with empty plates and she meant it. I can’t say that I am tired of good food because I’m not. This place was different. They have your taste buds covered. Seafood, yes!!! Soul food, yes!! Good sides and dessert, yes. My husband said if they had a burger then they’d have it all. The food was good good. He got the flounder and I got the pork chops and we mixed it up. Nothing on the plate was disappointing. We need to go back for the seafood. This place filled up so quick. I have been eating really good lately. I wonder who is going to break the streak? Y’all if you get there too late you may have to wait but the booths can hold six large behinds comfortably. I ordered takeout. I had the shrimp po boy. It was tasty and came with a side. I chose the fries. Very generous portion of fries! I wish they had more shrimp of course on the sandwich, but the overall taste satisfied my craving for the day, lol! Service was quick and the hostess was very nice.

This place was amazing!!! They were short staffed but still made our experience great. Even the owner was out there serving and doing a great job with it. The food was very enjoyable and we were all full when we left. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant was having a grand opening. We saw that it was a soul food restaurant; however we did not realize it was a Chinese Soul Food Restaurant. Service was very slow and very odd. You get your appetizers almost the same time you get your meal AND your party receives food at different times. It took 30 mins to receive ANY food. My husband & I started w/appetizers. I had a house salad and he had Clam Chowder. He said the chowder was good. My salad was as expected. I ordered Pork chops, greens, & mac-n-cheese. Pork chops were seasoned well, but VERY thin. You get two, but equal to one. Greens were canned, mac was boxed mac with cheese sauce (not good). The Hubs ordered the Oxtails w/rice, greens. mac-n-cheese. Oxtails (2) were tasteless, boiled, & very fatty. He added loads of hot sauce to give it flavor. Drinks were over carbonated. My advice, don’t order Soul food, stick with the seafood. Will not return.

I’ve been several times. Oddly enough, every time I’ve had a different experience & every time, the menus changed. The one thing I can say is that it’s gotten better with each visit . This last visit was actually really good. Service, food, and even the newest menu were all great. Sorry I didn’t catch photos of the newest menus… give it a try. I hope you enjoy

My husband and I were very pleased with our first experience here at Soul & Seafood House. I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with Mac and Cheese on the side. My husband got the low country boil. Everything came out fresh, hot and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend!

Wife not a sea food fan. She did not like what she ordered but ate it. Mine was great, the shrimp boil house spicy sauce hot. Very tasty shrimp large and very good. Along with one piece of corn and some potatoes.

The dinner and atmosphere in this place was amazing! Our server, Brandy was very attentive and respectful. The price was everything was worth it. I had the oxtails, Mac&cheese and black eyed peas which were delicious. This was the second time I’ve come here having been the day prior. I definitely recommend this place!
