I think every place and everybody always has room for improvement. For my first visit, and for reading about it for many many months, I found this to be just what I expected. The service was fantastic, and what I mean by that it was a person that appeared to love what they do or perhaps the interaction with people. I sat at a window seat to watch the people walk by and when I looked over my shoulder, the place was packed. So my point to this arrive early and expect great food and great service✊

Are you looking for a tasty burger and sandwich shop in Salem, OR? Look no further, @valianteats has one of the best cheeseburgers in town! Their hand-made patties with melted cheese and fresh toppings, along with a side of crispy fries, make it one of the best in town. We also tried the Reuben sandwich, which was good but a little fatty. The atmosphere is really chic with their red brick some abstratic artwork. The waitress was friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our food.

One of my favorite places in salem for all types of sandwiches. The smash burgers are quite tasty, and the cold sandwiches are always filled with assorted meats and sauce. Definitely worth checking out if you have never been, and I believe it’s family owned which is even better!

Found myself downtown looking for a good sandwich. Valiant the Sandwich looked like a good option from reviews, but I was confused as the menu from Google and the photos of the Menu in reviews were pretty different. I figured what I wanted based on the pictures instead of on Google’s list, and luckily, that was the smarter choice.

Could this be the best Reuben in Salem, Oregon? I think it might be. Goes great with their home-made tomato soup. Everything is made from scratch. Corned beef is tender and tasty.

Great food, we got the Reuben and the roast beef sandwich. The Reuben had a wonderful balance of savory/umami flavor with the acidic/fresh flavor. The Roast beef sandwich was also great, piled with meat and a bbq sauce that had just the right amount of heat.
